Hi, Good one. I'm looking for the same solution.2" pullback. So, are the original bolts 12mm and the bolts with the kit 1/2' Whit? Too big for the bracket but was it ok to go through the triple tree. Are there rubber bushes? Thanks, Graham, Bundaberg, Queensland.
Was this a 3 or 4 inch riser? I just bought the Baron 4 inch for my RS Warrior. Should have the same give as the Standard RS in cables and will need to remove Cable Keeper like you did (some drill it out but I won't). Tighter fit to get a tool in to the acorn bolt at the bottom.
I got these risers, installed them and removed them as quickly as I could. I felt like I was leaning backwards holding on to the bars. 5'9" is too tall for these risers I guess.
They do make me lean back more but when I ride with my feet on the highway bars it's very comfortable to me because it leans me against my back rest. If you don't have a back rest then it may feel weird.
@@stickfiguretree5411 I took my back rest off once and did notice that the bars leaned me back to far to be comfortable so I put the back rest back on. Lol
Mr. Adams, My brother bought me a set of risers. I do nit know what they are but, they have no groves in the handle bar mount and I can not get them to stay in one place, ie: they will move up or down depending upon if I brake or twist the throtle...Any ideas on how to stop this without having to buy a new set of risers?? Thnx toom
Make sure you use a lock washer and loctite blue when you attach the risers to the triple tree. If you can move handlebars up and down then you can use a strip of emery cloth around the handlebars then clamp it down tight.
You installed risers that force you to remove the cable bracket? Not cool. You can purchase better quality risers with different bolt shaft diameters that allow you retain all other stock parts.
