In this Video i will show you how you can get bluetooth in your volvo v50. You need to get yourself a bluetooth module, you can get them on pretty much all the cheap sites on the internet like aliexpress, alibaba, amazon, wish, probably temu as well.
Then you need to put it into your car, which i had to look through multiple videos and at the cars blueprints to figure out.
so i thought id make this video to help anyone out there that wants to upgrade their car stereo to a bluetooth without spending hundreds of dollars on a tablet which is also a pain to setup.

It replaces the AUX. So yeah I’m pretty sure you wont be able to do this if you dont have aux already. Edit: you might be able to do something else, i recommend you to look up on some volvo online community’s

I solved mine with an FM Modulator. Just buy a proper one and you won't have any issue. Edit: search on google "car fm modulator/transmiter with bluetooth". The phone connects with buletooth to fm modulator/transmitter which will stream music on FM frequency, 88.8 for example, and then you set car radio to 88.8

Unfortunately no, i was hoping it would. The volume buttons on the steering wheel work tho

@@catalint511 according to one of the videos i watched, the track changing buttons worked, but it might be that the cheap module i got is defective or just doesnt have that feature

@@Theviewer100 I don't think so. Most of these modules try to replace the aux port, which doesn't have such features (even if it could, like old cable headphones). I have a friend installed something similar in his VW Touran, with all buttons working, but for him the module replaces CD 6 and displays the current song on player screen. Well, seems like the only way this could work the way I want is to install an aftermarket android unit with a canbus decoder.
