In this video, I used a program called WinNTSetup to boot Windows off a virtual drive on actual hardware (NOT on a virtual machine!) I found this out recently, and I find it better doing this when creating a dual boot. It is easy to remove once you are done with it, and you won't need to worry about Windows creating multiple partitions on your main drive through this method! This program can also do more than install Windows on virtual drives.
Be sure to check if your computer is UEFI or legacy (which I show how in the video) and be careful if installing Windows 7 on a UEFI based system as you may need to switch to legacy in order to boot it. I am not sure how that may affect the UEFI install on your computer, so be careful!
Anyways thanks for watching the video, and if you have any questions or want me to test something, leave a comment and I will get back to you when I can!
