Not to be "that one guy", but the tiles must be laid starting from the exact center of a room to create an even look all the way around the edges of the room. Notice at the end of the video where the left side of the room has full tiles along the wall whereas the other side has very short cut pieces along the wall. Either way though, he did an excellent job laying those tiles in. If you don't care about an even look, then it does not matter much to how and where you start, as long as you are happy with the end results. However, if you are looking to be an installer laying floors for other people, then that is where your work matters a lot and needs to be precise and done the correct way.

We're redoing our basement, and its a stone floor. We tore up the old carpet this weekend. Should we scrub the floor now before we glue it? or just glue

Homesteading Ways So very sad for your loss, my husband passed away 4 years ago,so I understand your grief and loss . I am beginning to be able to function some what agin now ! I do recommend if possible joining a grief group as this will help you to understand your grief and that strange as it may seem we all who have lost loved ones all have similar patterns of dealing with our loss of loved ones . This path you are on now isn’t going to be easy and you may not understand as time goes on why you maybe unable to cope with your grief. This is natural,we all feel this way, you may lose interest in things thinking why bother, there isn’t any joyfulness any more again we all have those same feelings. No your hurting grief won’t ever end but it will lessen and be a bit easier to bare . I highly recommend a grief support group .Blessing Be ,you are loved !💕🦋🌈👵🏻🐈🐶🌹🌹🌹🌹

The tiles are not square. Where they meet is noticeable.

It may have been home depot. I'm sorry that I can't tell you more. My husband died in an accident about 2 weeks after this video was taken.

Because I am freaking to anal my dilemma was that where the four carpets meet it did not square meaning all four corners didn't seem to line up linear, it seems to me to be an optical illusion correct
