I love my Cheat-A-Keys. I gave my $200 Keith Tuners away. I couldn't stand them. Having to loosen the stoppers and then retighten them to change keys is a pain in the babushka! 😂
I am struggling as my string does not have enough length to Put across the cheat a key and then into the peg head. Have I trimmed my string too much when I’ve purchased them a few weeks ago? I think I may have to purchase new strings and try again with the full length string
Kindly, Leon is saying that when you change your strings, make sure to wind each string so that it is as close to the headstock as possible (or toward the bottom of the winding spool). By trying to eliminate as much of an angle as possible on the string, it will help prevent the string from breaking. God bless.
