Noticed you have a pair of LSL brake & clutch levers. An install video for those would be most welcome! Picked up a Scout Rogue early this August and have already modded the exhaust and mirrors. Love my new ride.
Hey man, great vid. I’m a shorter guy and was wondering if this reduces the reach to the bars a bit as that’s my biggest gripe about the bobber. I’d like one but without reducing the reach it would be pretty uncomfortable
The electrical wires where long enough so they don’t look stretched out coming out from behind the cluster??? You where able to zip tie them for a clean look against the bars?
@@cruisingwithkyle thanks for replying dude. I also was wondering is it possible to angle the bars towards the rider for better reach? Or they’re set for a specific instal angle?
Thanks for the video Kyle. I can't find the pair of LSL brake & clutch levers under the link you gave us. Would u mind giving more info on them? Thanks man and stay safe.
Thanks man. I just bough the bars like yours but mine is 10" rise. it would be nice to let them (Dean Speed) know that I bought the bars after watching your video.
That’s rad! That’s why I make the videos, just want to share awesome products and companies I like to fellow riders and Dean Speed is definitely one of them.
Hey dude Finally I will get the 8inch titus haandlebar on coming Friday But I found another RU-vidr who replaced the factory handlebar with the dean speed 8inch handlebar experienced the problem clutch cable length is too tight. So I wonder you changed Original clutch cable to 8inch cable?
Nice! I didn’t change any of my cables. It may depend on the angle you put your handlebars at, I kept mine pretty straight but if you pull them back towards you it’ll pull on the cables more.
hey dude i finally got my titus bars and i absolutely love them. my question though is when u bolted the 4 bolts down to secure the handle bar to the bike was there a small gap left in between the 4 bolts? ive torqued my 4 bolts evenly to 22 ft lbs and theres a small gap. i want to tighten them down more to close the gap but dont want to risk snapping the bolts in the process. i dont know if its maybe that the bars are slightly thicker than the stock bars.
Thanks! Yeah I’ve thinking about it, I’ve a lot of people with the Progressive 444s. I only weigh about 150 lbs so the suspension isn’t too bad with me on it, but when I’m a poorly paved road It can definitely be rough.
The bars are Dean Speed Titus bars and I got the 8 inch rise with Scout controls. I don’t have any tightness with my stock cables but if you go bigger than the 8 inch rise I’d get longer cables.
If the cables worked with the stock mini apes from the rouge then you should be fine. My bike didn’t come with mini apes so the cable length on my bike was shorter for regular stock bars.
haha yeah I was able to reuse the grips but they were slipping some because they weren't glued anymore so I got a pair of the Vans Cult moto grips to replace them.
