Hi, mine came with the smart plug and I set it up during the process of setting up the app. But I’m almost certain that you don’t have to set it up if you want to. Buy why don’t you want not to install it ?!!
@@DIYERTOOLSTIPS Okay. Just seeing if it was a requirement to make the lock work. For instance if it was unplugged by mistake would I loose remote access to the lock. If it's just a free bonus or just to use the Alexa then that's fine, but it would be weird if you needed an extra piece to get the lock to work.
