Where can I find Mini tubs to do my 1966 Belvedere ? I checked DSE an it's all Chevy Tubs. Thanks for Your help ,..Nice job on those Tubs ! Why do you have to Box the frame on a Chevy when doing the Mini Tubs?
You know, I'm sorry but I don't recall! That car had a previously installed roll bar so they may have been removed. I don't believe you have to cut that area since the tubs are designed to accommodate the rear seat etc. Thanks for watching!
@@SmittysShop thanks for getting back I Appreciate it I measured out and the seatbelts from the original tubs are 2 inches away and I believe I have to cut 2 3/4 so I was just curious but I do highly appreciate you getting back to me thank you a lot
what is the average cost to have a mini tub install provided the customer has all the DSE parts? I know every shop is different and iprice can fluctuate just give me a ballpark figure Thanks great work!
Hey man! Thanks for your question. This job was done several years ago and because every car/ situation is different, it would typically be a time and material job. But, to ROUGHLY estimate it in the current market (2020) I would expect you would pay somewhere between $1200- $1800 dollars!
