Installing Ditch Lights with Toyota OEM Style Switch onto my 2nd Gen Tundra 2007-2013

Lesson learned: Do more study and research before ever do anything, I could have tested the OEM switch wiring before getting them connected so I could get the right color for wires. ( I used Rigid's lights pods wires harness for this to save some money)

You can pull that front cowl down and hide the wires in there. I ran mine that way and then tucked the wires under the fender weather stripping.

From part of this "Obsessive-compulsive disorder" thing I have with the dash, I'd like it to be the same color lol. In order to do that I might need to open that switch up to mess with inside.

I like what you've done to your truck. After you did the install, and did the light alignment. Opening, and closing the hood. Did the light alignment change?

What brand switch did you use? Cali raised said they don’t have one that will work for my 08 tundra since they only have “toggle switches” not push buttons

I think you can use that "toggle switch" for your 08. I went back to my email and found my order confirmation, the item name is "Small Style Toyota OEM Style "DITCH LIGHTS" Switch". And I was looking around their website, I saw they had some updates and new products. Go to the vehicle section and choose Tundra 07+ and you will see switch options. I saw they have a new switch which also color-matched to our 2nd gen interior lights. caliraisedled.com/products/toyota-oem-ditch-lights-switch

What did you do with the stock radio antenna? Mine snapped off and installing a new one is damn near impossible! Any suggestions?

Mine snapped a month I just bought the truck, I haven't dealt with it yet. If I would do something I was thinking to take the whole panel off to get that fixed.

Easy fix with a pair of 90° needle nose pliers just tape around the hole so you don't scratch around it to replace the rubber
