I'm working on the electrical installation, dust extraction system and making a French cleat tool wool in the new workshop.
Time to turn the new shed into a functional workshop by installing lighting, power outlets, a central dust extraction system and bring back in all my hand tools and hang them on the new wall of tools.
I don't go into to much details about the electrical installation as there are to many differences in rules and regulations between countries when it comes to working on an electrical installation.
But keep in mind: You can't have enough power outlets and lighting!!
With all the bigger equipment in place I could also install a central dust extraction system to keep the new workshop as dust free as possible.
I used regular PVC piping as it's fairly cheap and easy to work with.
I'm aware of the potential risk of static build up. Therefore I will, in the near future, install measurements to ground all components of this system to relieve any static build up to ground.
After fixing the workbench to the floor I could start making a new French Cleat tool wall and start putting my most used hand tools back on the wall.

I hung my rolls of sand paper to high like yours. I decided that eye level is best,at least for me

I admire your breadth of know how; to do all that stuff yourself, it must be very satisfying. Respect!

At my old job we used to have sit/stand desks like that in the office. It's 1 of the only things I miss about the job. Not seen a bench like that before. Can immediately see how useful that would be. Shop is looking great, but hope to see you back making guitars soon!

The last video was a good video. No need not to be proud of it. You had the music going, rockin out, getting stuff done. You briefly mentioned some indecision towards the end but I would have had no clue if you didn't explain it in this video. Just remember, Heavy Metal in, anxiety out. When in doubt flip a coin and if you can't decide where to put the outlet just remind yourself that it doesn't matter if you have more of them then you'll use! I'm just kidding. Don't get me wrong, it can be quite a struggle because logic is logic and feelings are feelings! It will pass. Sometimes you have to let the dust settle for a while. Take it easy but not too easy. You want to keep just busy enough, at whatever, so that depression doesn't replace the anxiety. Even that can be quite difficult.

Wow you have done alot, this is great, and the vaccum system is great to. i´ve never seen electrical cables in pvc tubes like that before, at least not here in Sweden, but i guess its a matter of different standards for different countrys.. thanks.. :D

Love your modular electronics, compared to American wiring, we seem to do it the hard way.

Bad ass. You’re gonna wanna upgrade those blast gates to self cleaning aluminum. Plastic lasted me two weeks before getting too clogged to properly close
