I like your video. I also like that you have the little one out there with you. Once we as parents are gone, this is what they will remember and re-create with their kids. Parents do like to enjoy themselves but it is all about exposing our kids to positive things. I think you are doing that.

Awesome job brother. The only suggestion I would make is when your drilling into the transom to mount the transducer, I’d put the mounting screw up against the drill bit and wrap a piece of tape around the bit to mark how deep you need to drill. This way your not drilling any deeper than you have to. Just my opinion. I was really surprised at how you have to bend the transducer wire back toward the mount. Not sure why they would design it that way.

So when connecting this unit, all you need to hook up is the black and the red wire for power? I am mounting mine on the front of my boat and connecting my transducer on the bottom of my trolling motor, and I already have power at the front of my boat for one of my other units. So all I need to do is just connect the red wire for power and black for ground? Read for hot and black for negative?

did you need to do anything with the yellow grounding wire on the back of the unit?

I have this unit its really hard to beat for the price had it 1 and a half its froze a couple times but just unplug the power wire then turn it back on its fine... but I'm happy with it

You might want to use a ratchet drill that's ajustable to make sure your screws are tight, I installed mine a few days ago.

I have the same unit that I installed but took it out today and my side imaging wasn't the greatest. Do you know any adjustments I can make to get it clearer.

Hi mate..can I ask the power wire can I direct connect to battery..big battery with original fuse come with the units.

How did you get the rope through that flexible conduit to get to the back?

What size drill bit did you use?

How are you going to show a video of installing this unit but you didn't show the part on the trolling motor? When you buy a unit and watch a video you expect to see everything it takes to install it. I like your video but what the hell do I do up on the trolling motor? Guess I'll have to read the damn instructions instead of wasting my time on a video that is half-assed with the installment.
