How to install EXs 93 for the KRONOS. This method shows formatting of the memory stick, unzipping the data on a PC, and copying it to the memory stick for installation. It's a slightly longer method, but it's one that's fool proof.
Thanks for making this video. I was apprehensive messing with my 3 week old Kronos, but now that I see how easy it is to do you've given me the confidence to go ahead. It seems simpler than working with my Windows 10 machines.
Hello I want to buy the full package of SOUNDIRON from the Korg.com since I have the korg Kronos. My question is how I will load 20 GB IN THE SYNTH and how I will play them? I will connect via usb memory stick? or from my computer ? Thank you
I have a question, several years later here!; I installed one of the EX libraries on my Kronos. I thought that I had gone through the whole process correctly, but somehow, I must have missed a step or something. Now, I have basically all the files from that EX, but it won't play. What may I do to fix it? or, How can I safely uninstall those files from the Kronos?
Hello. Sample libraries are based on two parts, the samples ( which is the KSC file) and the Program sounds (which is the PCG file). What maybe happening is that if your loading two libraries, the second library maybe over writing the Program data of the first library. In order to resolve this you can load the first library as normal, but when it comes to loading second library you can do it in two parts. Load the KSC (Sample data, and when it comes to loading the PCG file for the second library, instead of loading it straight into the KRONOS, touch the PCG file and select OPEN. You can use this OPEN option to drill into the PCG file until you see the actual Program BANK value being displayed. When you see the actual program bank name, you can use the Tab in the top of the screen to load that bank into any bank of your choice in memory. Kind regards James
