I’d like to point out that the Cat 5e cable in your garage is best avoided. Lookout for cables with solid copper as opposed to copper plated. Just some advice for future proofing yourself from degradation.

It looks a good system. If anyone is installing PIR’s then do not point them at a window, door, garage door that is facing the sun. This will cause a heat spot that can trigger the PIR. Also do not mount them above radiators. Because these have a temperature sensor in them do that adjust for ambient heat? Just asking. Love the video. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Well after having the system for a couple of months all i can say it needs the bugs sorting out and there are a few. Motion sensors intermittently not picking up motion even when your stud right in front of it. The hub freezing or screen none responsive or losing wifi connection or z wave error and the actual outdoor siren going offline and not reconnecting and numerous other faults. I really wanted to like this alarm but i couldn’t recommend it to anyone.

You had a low battery alert on the app, it's not lasted 2 weeks let alone 2 years

great video i had a boundary system and the user interface was so fiddly and during a power cut it decided to fail which wasnt great and my mrs struggled to use it ,so now got a honeywell galaxy control with backlit pyronix deltabell all hardwired and my mrs can operate it blindfolded

Is this system intended to supplement the unifi protect system? Or as an alternative?

Hate to break it to everyone but Wireless DIY Intruder Kit is easy to disable using various devices that block signals etc etc. always recommend a professional to install a wired system like Pyronixs etc. The average joe can install DIY kit and will always pay a sub price for various features.

I had 2k€ HKC system in my old house. Mixed of wired and wireless sensors. Worked great, the app was the worst part tho. Best part was that the sensors did have impact detection, something this system appears to be missing. My new house does have an alarm system that the previous owner got professionally installed but it lacks all the smart features. I was trying to order this, but sadly doesn’t ship to the RoI.

How does it work with Atlas/Pets? Some of these are not quite pet friendly and give you some false positives? How have you found it?

The price of these will get you a wired system and if you put all the wires in yourself it’s just as cheap if an electrician connects it up. Vibration sensors for windows and doors, glass break detectors. These can all be set up so you can walk around your house when the alarm is set. Unlike your pir system

Hello, I hope you can help me. I have Govee lights around my TV as well as more of their smart lights situated around my lounge. The connection of the lights is 2.4GHZ but my wifi is 5G only in the three networks, is there a way of getting a 2.4GHZ signal using a wifi extender or any other tips you can off would be greatly appreciated. 😊

Looks ok but don't see the point of paying a subscription. Loads available like this which work on WiFi and you can also put sim cards in to get phone calls and SMS messages.

How would this system respond if someone used a wifi blocker? I’ve been reading online and even though they are illegal to use you can buy them fairly cheap. I’m not criticising just interested as I’m looking to installation system and don’t want to waste my money if they are easily floored.

Does this have HomeAssistant support? I'd love to be able to use this for automation. It would be really cool to be able to (for example) use all of the thermometers to help control my thermostat and use the motion sensors to turn on lights and stuff.

Is the ring alarm or boundary alarm better?

The eufy system is the better choice I think. No subscription bullshit.

Has this company gone into liquidation and does your equipment still work

Have been looking into systems for a while, don't want wireless. I want Poe cameras with pir sensor in it with floodlight and alarm siren. But sofar only see the swan inforcer set. That has all of that, but the reviews I c are quite negative about the brand. I need a 16cam setup.

No crash and smash protection for the keypad/hub? No ethernet against jamming? Z-wave instead of proper radio (Visonic and Ajax have a range of 2kilometers for their sensors). And only 2 years battery ? My old alarm from the early 2000's is actually better than that... Why don't you test Ajax products (7years battery) ? Besides, at least your Yale alarm had a pir-camera unlike that system..

Subscription service? Nooooooooo. An alarm should not be subscription based. Lost me a sale there.

I can’t see how a system like this can offer police response? An end user isn’t accredited to either NSI or SSAIB and the system I don’t believe is PD6662 compliant meaning police will not issue a URN for the system. I appreciate everyone wants useful and cheap but with security systems surely it’s sensible to leave this to professional installers? I’m not sure security systems that protects homes and families are right for the DIY market and it worries me more systems are coming out enabling inexperienced people to fit them. Paying even £500 for a system with a sensible amount of detectors for for the property is good don’t get me wrong but then being charged £9.99 a month to use it? That’s wrong and how can anyone be expected to pay out for a system they can only use properly by paying additional money! One day when you stop paying, all the money spent is literally dead and the systems only partially useful to say the least.

Never heard of this company and it doesn't come up on google search when looking for wireless alarm systems! If this is any good does the alarm work/activate WITHOUT internet connection as a stand alone system if an intruder was to break into the property??
