If you are talking about the black foam blocks,it helps keeping the crap from getting in !

Do you have the video on how to paint the tow hooks, this looks so good!

No,i did not filmed it while painting. Just hang the tow hooks with a wire and paint multiple thin layer of paint,at least five layers. That's how they look after.

Only lightly sanded it and painted it.
