I wonder if you heated the oval up and then attached it, if that might have helped with that small gap. The gap really is no big deal though, looks good. Good video buddy.
Nice job. I like the color-matched emblem. It does look better than the chrome and blue emblem. Nicely done. If you heated the emblem, it would make the curved part relax a bit to make thie nuts go flush or if you used stronget nuts to tighten the emblem. The original nuts are aluminum and can't draw the beefy emblem tight enough to the grill. I too am going to get a Putco LED emblem and hope it goes smoothly. Enjoyed a full-watch. Later.👍🏽🙂.
@@blomeoutdoors2134 Yep, you're right, the color matched really blends things in together nicely. I wonder if Ebay has one color-matched that illuminates? (I guess that's asking a bit much, huh?) Have a fine weekend, Bloom Outdoors. Love your mods and videos. Thanks.
Now this might sound stupid but have you tried putting a couple washers before putting on the nut. Will give u extra leverage and some extra threads to tighten the grill emblem down
issacg84 Yes you could have, but they would have been a lot more difficult to get access and take off. I would say it’s easier to take the whole thing apart, but that’s just my opinion on it.
@@blomeoutdoors2134 okay cool, I got the 2019 STX in magnetic grey and going for the same look, with no chrome. Not sure if I want to spend the money yet for the headlights to black them out. I already plastic dip the side emblems with a light gloss came out pretty good. Thanks for the other tips, I watched some of your other videos... P.s. nice truck 👍
