Just installed your plate for the holosun 507c - the plate is the trijicon plate - works for both - I installed it - looks good - will try it at the range - hopefully it won’t ever fall off or cause issues
Ok update. I recived the plate and it was very easy to mount. Optic fit right on and snug. Put 200 rounds through and it didnt loosen or move POA. This mount is solid and works perfectly. Fast shipping. Excellent quaility. And any company that includes stickers is a huge plus for me. 5 stars.
Or you can send your RX slide to L and M Precision Gun Works; PO box 36; Lakeview, NC 28350 and for ONLY $80.00 (shipping both ways and slide cut) Mark will convert your cut for any sight you want. If you send the sight with the slide he will mount and laser bore sight FREE...also you don't need to remove the rear sight...which means you will have back up sights!!
You didn’t tell me the one thing I wanted to know which was what Allen size the original screw that hold the plate on are. The gun didn’t come with an Allen for that.
Hi thanks for contacting us, that's a great point! The slide we had required a 3/32" hex key, but we always recommend double checking your serial number with the manufacturer just in case there is something different about your specific model.
Awesome products and a very well informed video. Will there be a plate offered with a rear suppressor height sight affixed to it to go along with the red dot for the M17?
Hi Joe, thank you for your feedback! At this time, we do not have a design for a suppressor height sight. We have thrown the idea around, but haven't come up with anything we like.
I received my EGW plate today, part 49282, it does not fit onto my Sig P322. I removed the rear sight but the notch on the slide does not line up with the tooth on the plate. Sad because I wanted to mount my Viper onto the 322.
Hello. The plate didn't fit because you ordered the incorrect part. What you ordered was a plate for a sig p365x. This is the mount you need: egwguns.com/vortex-viper-venom-red-dot-sight-mount-for-sig-sauer-p322-optics-ready-fits-burris-fastfire-and-docter Please give us a call and we would be happy to get this sorted out for you. Thank you!
Not a stupid question! We have tossed the idea around, but have not come up with any solutions that we are happy with. There are some other companies out there that do make mounts with integrated sights. They are typically more expensive and made out of steel too.
Hi thanks for contacting us. Yes, the 508t uses the RMR footprint. The Holosuns are only slightly larger than the RMR so there is a bit of overhang, but not too much.
Do you need to install a plate or can you install the Red dot directly onto the barrel? And if so, is there an advantage to having it installed onto a plate? (Asking for my new P320 M-18, trying to decide between a Vortex vs a Sig Romeo? Any recommendations?)
Hi, thank you for contacting us. The Sig slides are cut for specific red dots, depending on the model. Red dot manufacturers do not all use the same "footprint". If you had a Vortex Venom and wanted to mount it on the Sig, you would require an adapter, but if you had the Sig Romeo (the correct one for the slide you have) you would be able to mount that directly. We sell a lot of the Vortex Venoms, but are currently out of stock and are not sure when they will come in. I hope this helps!
Hi, thanks for reaching out. Sorry to hear you are having trouble. What is the exact issue you are experiencing? Is the 3/32 key too big or too small? We aren't aware of any changes to the screw from Sig. If you are having issues, we always recommend taking the gun to a qualified and competent gunsmith.
Is there a cheap red dot for for M17 that has a rear sight to line up with the front? I want to have a sighting option in case the red dot stops working.
The Venom has small lines on the back of the sight that can be used as a backups. The Deltapoint Pro does have optional backup rear sights that you can purchase separately too. I cannot confirm if the Deltapoint Pro backup sight will work on the M17 though. You would have to reach out to Sig or Leupold. You would also most likely have to change the front sight height to match the rear. You could also use something like what Springer Precision makes: shop.springerprecision.com/m17-x-compact-x5-legion-front-cowitness-optics-mount/
Thanks for reaching out, we don't make an adapter plate for the RX and the Trijicon RMR. We just have come to market with the M17 and Trijicon RMR plate. I don't think we currently have plans to do an RX plate for the RMR though.
Thanks for the feedback! We were just trying to cover up the incredibly irritating noises from the shop that day. We shouldn't have that problem anymore since we now film with lapel mics and on days that the shop leaves early!
RMR for the m17: www.egwguns.com/trijicon-rmr-sro-holosun-407c-507c-mount-for-sig-m17-deltapoint-pro The vortex viper/venom version is being made currently and wont be on the shelf for 6 weeks at a minimum. The SKU # for that will be 49201
@@jessehollowell2645 Yes, that is correct. Normally there would be a page there saying out of stock but we have been having website issues and had to remove the page temporarily.
Thanks for the video. I have a Sightmark mini shot M-Spec on my AR15... I would like to use it with my Sig Sauer P320 M17 do you know where I can found the right sight mount ?
Hi, thanks for contacting us. The Sightmark should use the same footprint as the Vortex Viper and Venom. The adapter plate for that is available here: www.egwguns.com/vortex-viper-venom-fits-burris-fastfire-and-docter-adapter-plate-for-optics-ready-sig-m17
@@EGWInc Thanks for your fast answer. It is the product I am looking for... but it seems you do not chip your products outside US. Could you tell me where I can find your product in France, or in Europe ?
Correction, the M17 is cut for the Delta Point Pro and the Romeo 1 Pro, not the standard optic. Sig's new electro-optics sights have the same footprint as the Delta Pro
The Sig Romeo 1, Romeo 1T and Romeo 1 pro have a notch in the back of the optic to co-witness and use as a back up. My guess is adding an adapter plate would raise it up where you would have to add a suppressor height front sight to co-witness. But then again the slide is cut for those(and Delta point pro) do you wouldn't need an adapter plate
Thanks for contacting us. We are not able to ship internationally, but you can contact JLN firearms, they should be able to help you out. JLNfirearms.com
We do have plates that fit that cut, as long as the slide does not have a rear sight dovetail cut. We always recommend checking your slide to make sure it matches the photos we have published. www.egwguns.com/pistol-and-red-dot-mounts/mounts-by-firearm-brand-sight-cut/?model=818
Hi Ivan, unfortunately, at this time we don't have any plans to do any other adapter plates for the RX or the M17. I will pass this along to our product development team though! Thanks for reaching out!
@@EGWInc +1 that question. Seeing as the M17 is a military-esque weapon system and a lot of us in the military are Trijicon fanboys...for obvious reasons...there would probably be a pretty decent market size for a DDP to Trijicon mount adapter. Not to mention there are a heck of a lot more optics available in the Trijicon cut than the DDP. The fact that the M17/18 is cut for the DDP is just the classic military trying to tell us how to live our lives again conundrum. WE will never stop fighting back! ='D
@@SharpShooter9867 they aren't finished production yet, but they will be available soon. www.egwguns.com/trijicon-rmr-sro-holosun-507c-adapter-plate-for-sig-m17-deltapoint-pro
Hi mario, all of our torque specs are listed on all of our products. If you have the specific set up that is in the video, we recommend 12 in/lbs for the plate to the slide. Each manufacturer of red dot also has their own torque specs as well.
Hi Cesar, thanks for reaching out. The Holosun 507k uses the DeltaPoint Pro footprint. We do not make an adapter plate for that. To our knowledge, the M17 slide comes cut from the factory to accept a DeltaPoint Pro. You may need different screws, but it should fit in the slide.
I cannot believe what I'm watching, you cannot possibly install optics onto an aluminum plate without being very careful to not over-tighten. We need torque numbers
