Dirt Perfect's videos are always behind due to time dilation. Living so close to Logger Wade he is subject to extreme gravity, hence time moves slower at DP's house than Kleeman's. It also explains why Kleeman appears to be talking faster. If he lived next to Kleeman, the videos would come out before he booked the jobs!
There is a difference between a “product endorsement” and an honest report or opinion. Some channels turn into little more than a commercial for some product-of-the-day. I think you have kept it honest and real. Personally, I am good with that.
I like the product reviews as long as it's your honest opinion like it has been. Never heard of speed binders or had any interest in slip on work boots before your channel but now I'm interested so the marketing strategy is working.
I don't mind the that the videos come out "delayed" when compared to when they are filmed. I actually think you have found a great system to keep them coming out consistently even though the "eb and flow" of life might not always align your priorities with getting RU-vid videos out. Call it good inventory management. Part of the reason I even started watching RU-vid was to find relevant information on certain products. I always appreciate honest opinions from those who actually use certain products day in and day out. Product endorsements are not as well received and can often be a huge turn-off -especially if the endorser is disingenuous. Lastly, this is your channel. I don't think you can go wrong if you just keep doing You. If you continue being genuine things will work themselves out organically. That's my opinion but I have never seen the 2 cents you always hear about.
Your viewers, including myself appreciate all the videos you put out regardless of the content and we look forward to new vids. When you add the "Man behind the scenes" and Captain Kleeman they just seem fun. Thanks for what you do and stay healthy, we old guys need you. If you endorse a product you like I'm all for it.
I like the fact that Mike not only shows what he does, he shows what everyone else does. Seeing those guys doing the power cable work is quite educational. Especially knowing that 7200 volts passes through that cable! I personally like underground vs overhead. Each has it's pros & cons, but underground is by far the more appealing since overhead is so unattractive.
Totally appreciate honest comments on items used regularly and enjoy seeing the videos whenever they come out, as in whenever it makes sense for you to do it. We realize RU-vid is not your job and I just enjoy watching the projects. I miss doing construction work on occasion and this helps me reminisce.
I have noticed in the last 10 years my Redwings haven’t been wearing like they were before. I think they lost me as a customer I agree if it’s something you use daily I have no problem with you reviewing it. I also understand the hobby thing. I drive a truck because I don’t want to make flying a job and loose my passion for aviation and trade it for a job.
I don't have a problem with the reviews, as long as it's honest and useful. Love the videos. The videos being behind isn't an issue at all with me. They still come out, and entertain. 👍👍👍
I'm an electrian in Sweden and it's nice to see how the "coworkers of the same trade" working across the big pond. Did a similar job less than two weeks ago where an excavator operator "chewed" on a big cable with his bucket powering a school. 3 phase cable with ground/neutral, 400 Volt between phases and 230 Volt Phase to ground/neutral with 200 amp fuses. Cut the bad part out and spliced it back together. Keep up the good work 👍

I can't speak for others but I was looking for some slip on boots to wear on my son's farm. The information was useful. I appreciate the time you take to explain things and evaluate products. As for timing of videos it is sometimes a little confusing but all comes together. I am medically retired disabled and have seen nearly everything on television I turned to RU-vid. I watch a number of people and it is the only thing I do watch. I can't tell you the last time my television was turned on. Your channel is the most informative and for humor there is no topping Logger Wade. Now as for the length of videos. I personally have no problem with length going long. I have thought many were a bit short or cut off too soon. I spent 30 years doing industrial maintenance before a piece of equipment collapsed and retired me so detail and technical is good. I even agree with your choices and why. I appreciate the time you take to explain why you made the choices you made. This is the very first time to ever comment so if it isn't right just overlook it. Thanks for doing what you do.
I agree with you on RU-vid. My channel is tiny in comparison to yours and I can tell you it’s time consuming. It takes longer to do the job your doing to film it and then it takes a long time to edit it. I do it because I’m enjoying it. Good video man!
Regarding your opinion of speed binders boots and pants sent to you for your evaluation. I feel those are tools of your trade just as your heavy equipment is. You come across as a good family man and ethical business man. Therefore I appreciate your honest assessment as opposed to endorsement of said products. Keep them coming.

Mike I think the majority, just likes your video's no matter when you shot them. Don't listen to the Whiner's who are sitting around with nothing to do but wake up in the morning, walk outside, and find a rain/storm cloud to spend their time under all day. You do a lot of different stuff, and that's what we obviously like. We enjoy when you interact with your kids and family, and the robust spirit you put into your work and video's!
The best thing about promotion is word of mouth. I appreciate having someone do a review on a product that may be good for friends and consumers. You are the kind a person that instills trust in people I lkeit keep up the good works.

I checked out the boots at the local Tractor supply I couldn't get my foot in any of the safety toed boots , the 1 marked u-turn I could but not a safety toed . It's not just this brand, I couldn't get my foot in any of the pull-ons from the other brand names . They do have the boot online with the correct style I need , this why I wanted try on the boot before ordering online

Good video! I'm sure if RU-vid became a job, you would not enjoy as much. Glad you didn't snag the fiber or the 7200 volt line when by yourself! A couple finer points of electrical terminology, not a big deal. Primary and secondary are terms used when talking about transformers. Primary is source side secondary is output side. At the electrical meter(point of service) from utility to meter is service conductors. From meter to panel is service entrance conductors. Not a big deal, just thought you might like to know. 👍 Half hour vids are just right for my ADD. I think you could benefit from back up cameras on all your towing vehicles. If you put them on the trailers too with a constant "on" status, it's great as a full time rear view mirror replacement. Signed, Old and Broken
Thanks for the video. I agree that it should be a hobby. Also with the product reviews; only highlight the products you use. It can be annoying when some people review a product they know nothing about or wouldn’t use themselves. If I were an owner op, I’d probably invest in those speed binders because of your & capt kleeman’s reviews. But since I’m a company truck driver, I’ll stick with what they provide.

I like having your opinion on boots and work pants. I have to wear boots every day to work and i am on concrete all day long and just cannot find a comfortable pair for more than like three months. I wear 501 tactical pants everyday. I love those pants. Currently wearing Georgia Boots, wellington style.
As far as the videos and posting said videos, my thought would be for you to post the videos on YOUR schedule and not worry about how late they are. You have to live your life and if that means not posting videos every day or every other day then so be it. Keep it good for you and not us. Yes we enjoy them, but they shouldn’t be a detriment to what you do and how you run your life. Secondly, on the length of the videos I would say around 30 minutes would be great. TBH when you are digging a trench or hole or whatever, and you are not commenting like yu did today, and it is scoop/dump, scoop/dump I do the 10 second tap and move forward since it is a tad boring. Given that, the length is just Dirt Perfect!
No need to promote the items you use, because sometimes we already know what we want to wear / use. The little bit that you drop is appreciated. As for you content , I love your videos but it is okay about when you don’t upload daily or weekly. Work family and fun take prior, just taking us for the vicarious ride is always nice when you share your hobbies and family time and work time with us. Thank you

I love my work pants from them . I like seeing your thoughts on different things like the boots an pants or equipment . As long as your honest about it . Thats is my biggest pet peeve is saying oh this is the best thing ever and it being the biggest POS . I actually got my ariat pants from watching outdoors with the Morgans . And after I seen you got some I was wondering what your thought was .
I don't see a problem with promoting products that you think are of good quality and value . It gives us a guide as to what we may need. It also is a perk for you which is all good . As far as videos just do what is easier for you . Would hate for you to get discouraged and quit all togather . The length of videos is perfect at 25-30 minutes.
I Like the reviews you do. You are a working person and you show the product being used and how it stands up. It is great that you have the opportunity to show these products and get a few free samples as long as you do it for you and what you like and not for the free stuff. Also, you are a hard working person and need to support your family, I would like more videos but very happy for what you can supply. At least we get a video about everyday even if you are on vacation with the family. I think its great that you work on your own stuff, I enjoy that because I enjoy doing my own maintenanence myself. And I just try it and learn as I go and with your videos the things you do I have learned some new things. Keep up the good work

I used to use a magnet a piece of althread and tennis ball... place it on the tongue of the trailer and aim for the center ... always easy hookup then on ....
Another nice video. As for your questions, I say keep doing what you're doing. Review tools/equipment that you actually use...as long as you give us your honest opinion, you're not 'selling out'. A couple videos a week is fine with me, I understand what a time sink it must be to edit and read/reply comments on your vids.

Your channel is great and leveraging your position via product reviews is a blessing as a result of your hard work. As long as your channel doesn't become a video that we are looking for the "Skip Add" button on then no one would fault you for it. Some unnamed channels have got to that point lol.
One of the best channels on RU-vid Mike. I enjoy you thoughts on products you use and all the jobs you do. I appreciate your videos no matter the length. I usually just have my i pad going in the tractor so i get to watch a lot more content and channels than most.

You know its a great video when all of the punch lines are towards Captain Kleeman and you end up laugh out loud with everyone else in the video. Keep it up. Videos: If I have to wait for your videos like this, I'm OK, take your time, there PERFECT! Now I'm "edge-a-ma-ca-ted" on splicing High voltage wires! The Battery died at the end? If you rewind, I though we saw Kleeman messing with your camera! All it took was him moving it! Of course, it was April Fool's Day!
There's no way that I would be able to research the market for items like pants and boots- plus other categories. I work for a living and don't have the time! Lucky the material is clay and not sand that caves in. I can't believe the quality of utilities - fiber, WOW! Daviess Co, KY is a much larger and financially - able. One thing I like about your videos is the fact that I don't have to keep messing with the volume control up or down. I didn't get your poll but I don't like videos longer than 30 minutes. If I watch anybody's videos that are longer than 30 min. I watch for the 1st 10 mins. skip for 10-20 mins. then watch the finish. I haven't don't that with your videos because they are interesting and sometimes quite comical. Keep up the good work.
