Looking good justin. I think it's great that you tackle all of your instruments yourself man. Instead of sending it off to have it done. You really know your machine in and out. Did you attach the outer top of the seatbelt to the location of the seatbelt that you removed. I could not tell. You were allways standing in front of the camera.

I did not...I actually attached it around the roll bar to the inside of where the seatbelt is. I talk about being worried about it sliding down in the video, but they have literally never moved.

4 points were one of my first upgrades too. The only downside for me is the limited mobility causing reduced field of vision while rock crawling. Sometimes, a driver has to lean forward to see the obstacles and over sand dunes. The harness is great though. I wouldn't go back to the OEM belt.

Does the machine recognize it as a seatbelt or do you need to overide the safety feature preventing you from going full speed?

You don’t need to override anything. It is just for the seatbelt light in the dash. It won’t limit anything

Figure I ask! Does anyone know if someone is making aftermarket axles yet for this machine? Cfmoto wants 265 for front and 300 for rear. Feel that’s a little high. Dealer said he can get fronts for 150. But nothing yet for rears. And I’d like to just have a set as a jic when go on riding trips Thxs

Did you try the outside bolts to the factory seat belt hole and see how that fit? Or is on the bar better? I got the ACES 4 point harness but havent had chance to install yet. Might cut and weld in mounts on the rear bar to bolt to.

@@edclements5112 never rode mine yet with them in yet but I don’t think they will slide back and forth after you tighten them down when your in the seat

Im still working on my 5pt harness. I went with 50 cal 3inch set. Figured 3” will be more comfy over 2” if I ever roll it. Driver side has a bar to tie 5th point to under seat but still Debating on where to connect the passengers side because of the gas tank and there’s really no place to do it at. But I’ll get it. I’m still trying to figure out the seatbelt bypass? Since I took my factor belts all the way out. I called cfmoto dealer and they don’t make one and they don’t know anyone that does for this machine and I’m not a fan of cutting the wiring harness to tie both wires together. You have any ideas?

Honestly...my seatbelt safety thing never worked...lol. My suggestion would be to keep the drivers buckle attached and hidden under the center console plastic and connect the old seatbelt connector in it under there. If i run into that issue, that’s what I’m doing. Lol

Was told if you completely remove the drivers seat belt and unplug it the light wont come on. Havent tried but the youtuber who i asked said thats how his worked.

@@edclements5112 thank you I’m going to have to try it when the weather breaks. Just been putting extras on it and it’s actually doesn’t have wheels on it right now. I mainly ride on roads and I bought a cheap set of wheels and street tires for it and I’m waiting on a bead blaster to set the bead to put them on. Plus snow in Ohio slowing things down too

@@husqvarnaracer2175 there is always a ratch strap around the middle as tight as u can get it to balloon the tire then add air and pull the tire quick to the bead. Or always a little spray and lighter with the ratch strap and air. Had both methods work in the field.

@@edclements5112 I tried both lol. Idk if tire too soft but it just collapses where the ratchet is and I tried ether and lighter but doesn’t seem flammable anymore

What did u do with the rest of the seat belt just let it hang? The mounting point qas used for the new harness but the old one is still mounted at the top.

I actually ended up leaving the old seatbelts, just in case I ever want to just use those.

@@JustinTheCreator where did u mount the bottom since the harness took its spot? Working on it, turn signals, front bumper, skids, and clutch kit as we speak and through out the daym

@@JustinTheCreator got everything installed but the clutch kit. Didnt expect the turn signals to be so time consuming. I must have watched your two videos 30 times. But i got it and work great.
