Talaria has a 6 pin connector coming from the power cable that connects to 4 pins of the BMS- if you use just a 2 pin QS8 how do you bypass those extra wires/ pins?
What is the app you are using? Is it iPhone compatible or do I need to get my hands on an android phone? I have the EBMX app for my BAC8000 but it seems to do nothing for my EBMX battery.
No you need 6 awg cable, but will only need that if you want to run more than 300amp. Will need a 400amp bms or bigger, like what the new ebmx race battery has. But your motor also needs to be able to pull the power. Only motor that does at the moment for the light bee is ebmx motor, it pulls 30kw.
@@progressive_e awesome, do you know what the max settings are after cable and connector changes for the non race 72v 42ah, I’m not sure what BMS it has
@progressive_e Originally I purchased a Torp but then they let me know I can't do the breaker delete after I place the orders so I canceled it. instead, ordered the X 9000.
@@jamesbringle4446you can run it without a breaker on a Torp or with different connectors they just don’t advise removing the breaker as a last line of defence
@x0jamiex0 so when I posted that torp emailed me saying that I couldn't run with out a braker and they stuck with that. I sent my 500 back and got a x9000. Now I got some more time with this stuff I realize they were just saying that.. it just voids there warranty or something cuz it doesn't make much sense why they would say I couldn't run there's with out a braker... but ya your right.
Talaria has another part of power cable that plugs in to harness, I believe it has connections coming from BMS. However even with the EBMX controller I still need it plugged in to turn on the bike. I'm not sure how to get it to work with aftermarket battery with QS8/10 connectors@@jamesbringle4446
