In this video I install the Raxiom Vector Tail Lights with White Diffusers on my 2007 Ford Mustang GT and show you how awesome they look. You can find my socials and get in contact with me through my Tazet profile: www.tazet.com/foureyes
This dude starting out has better production quality then most the big channels really enjoying watching the series the channel is definitely gonna go places
Looks really good, those vector lights are on my build list but I want the ones with red diffusers instead as they resemble the 2015 lights the most. Having said that yours resemble the taillights they use on the European cars. Looks great on your car with that colour and the black out panel. People trash talk the 3V 05-09 but I think the stance on these cars is awesome. To me they look so much better than the 2010-2014. They have a true retro look to them that they lost in 2010. The 3V sounds pretty sweet too.
Newfie-Dean I agree. The 05-09 mustangs capture the retro look. The newer the mustangs got after that the further they got away from that look. The wind tunnel dictates the style of all the new cars so that the new mustangs look like a Hyundai Sonata or a dozen other cars. The single projection style headlight really screwed it up.
This channel is almost at 1k subs & you only have 5 videos...that's just crazy. So much potential, great video content like always. Taillights look awesome. I cannot wait for your upcoming modifications 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Four Eyes hey man love the vids! Just subscribed today! I used to own an 08 GT and the best mod I did was 4.10 gears! Now with your plans of 700hp I would probably not recommend it bit 3.73s would wake the car up nicely and still play well with high hp down the road! Can't wait to see what else is in store and I am digging the wheels on this car! Keep the videos coming!
You always seem to throw in something that I haven't seen before on RU-vid. The overlayed viewer comments at the end were a nice touch. This might be the easiest mod that you'll do. Looking forward to more.
My suspension upgrades are hands down my favorite mods I’ve done so far. I suggest buying as many parts as you can from a single company, so you know they are designed to work together.
Got the same taillights, I love them. It's great to see another video from you, please don't take so long for your next one...I love them and I'm excited to see you build.
Very nice quality videos man! been following you since your first video of transforming your stang into a supercar. Cant wait for the upload frequency to increase to more than 1 video every 3 months haha! Keep up the good work man!
Pleasantly surprised at how those turned out. Wasn't sure about them either. Great quality in the videos, keep it up! Looking forward to the next one. Good luck!
Car looks amazing, I have the same color and I love your mods so now I know what my car would look like with those tail lights! Keep up with the videos!
Glad you made another video. Watching your videos makes me wish I got a 3 valve instead of my 3.7 haha. Love my car, but man. Always have loved the older s197s and that 3 valve sound...
Your mustang looks great. I remember the first time I saw those lights in the magazine I thought they where so cool. They are like the new mustang tail lights. If I ever got a mustang it would be this model because this model made a huge impact with the retro theme.
So glad to see your new video! Your build is looking more amazing every time you post a new video! I saw you in town and thought to myself, "man I can't wait till my S197 looks THAT good!". Keep up the great work and build!
Whaaaaat, I'll have keep a look out! From your avatar, that thing looks pretty beefy. Is that somewhere abouts the Zephyr Cove area? And thanks for the compliments amigo, glad you're diggin the project.
Great video as always man. I like how they almost look like they're the same color as the body when they're not lit up. I've seen too many 3v mustangs with tacky looking aftermarket taillights but these are done tastefully and go well with the car. Keep up the good work!
Turbo rather than S/C. I admire it. I'm currently doing something similar with my 07', but going the S/C route with a custom built gt450 kit. GL my dude, and hope to see more vids soon.
Wow bringing back child memories....I think when I was little, travelling to another city in Bulgaria I saw a grey fifth gen mustang with these taillights. I am not sure what I saw because it overtook us so fast and also it's been a good 15 years since then :D
Even though I'm watching them a little late but I'm glad I came across your videos I showed my wife and she actually likes them now lol thanks again man
Mine as a 2004 40th anniversary edition the last of the fox body... I recently purchased a set of those similar to what you have I didn't want the white ones though I wanted the red ones... I love the way they look I love the way they make the car look... The only thing I don't like about them as if you have the turn signals on the tail lights don't stay lit with the turn signal... But when the turn signal goes off the tail light comes back on... As far as the sequential's they work with the four ways the brake lights and the turn signal's I do have the smoked white side markers for the back... And the reason for that is because I also have the white side markers in the front... I haven't put them in yet because I have to figure out the wiring diagram once I do that I'll put them in
I have the same car and very similar plans. My stage 3 was installing BMR Level 2 handling package, BMR LCAs and chassis stiffening parts. Strut brace, shock brace and GT500 Lower Control Arm brace. The difference it made was fantastic. The car feels incredibly planted and responsive. It is my DD so I wanted something that would be an all around improvement and not just track or just show. Also, I love you channel. Your camera skills really show. Keep it up!
I'm glad they didn't. The purpose of the S197 styling was to bring back the retro look of the '60s. S550 tail lights are designed to look like euro-trash.
Just got pre approved for a 3v so I’ll be buying one within 30 days and I have my eye on a grey one just like yours. Never considered that color but I Can’t help but liking it after seeing how yours has turned out. Car looks great man, keep it up. I’m subbed
Before I realized I was Gona go stang, I still have it, but I was messing with my 01 Mitsubishi Eclipse and was putting in head and tail lights winging it as I went, and I cannot tell you how much I can relate to 2:40 where the lights don’t budge 😂😂 love these videos tho. They will definitely help me when I get mine
This has already become my favorite 3V channel and you're only at 1k subs. Insane! Your editing and camera work is verrrrry impressive. Fully believe your channel will blow up in no time at all. Quick question: I've been kicking around the idea of getting some new taillights for my '05, but can't decide between the Gen 5s or the Vectors. Was pretty set on the Gen 5s until I saw this video, and now I'm not so sure anymore lol. What do you think would look better on a black GT? White Vectors? Gen 5s? Going for the murdered out look. Anyway, keep up the quality content, man!
If you're going to pursue the murdered-out look, I would go with the Gen5s. I think they better accommodate an all-black exterior: acdn.americanmuscle.com/i/20140210170321_2213.jpg - they're also $100 cheaper. Now if the Vectors were available with black/smoked diffusers... that would be interesting.
Lights look great, videos are very good, and can't wait for next one....cool music too...very clean car. The next step for my car is the Detroit rocker cams, kooks long tube headers and catted midpipe to my roush off-road rear section and cold air kit and tune this summer
If you want the tail lights to sequence when braking, using hazards, and locking / unlocking the car, look itno the diode dynamics sequencer, it plugs between the harness and taillights. I have it on my 2013 mustang, I imagine they have one for yours too.
Can you please tell me what the name of that wonderful song is that is playing at the beginning? I just stumbled across your channel a few weeks ago and I'm very impressed with everything I've seen so far. Everything from the research that you perform, to the way that you present your videos, it's all very impressive and keep up the great work! I also just became a subscriber so please keep the great videos coming.
You can find the build sheet in the description of all the up-coming and current mods. But to answer your question I think his suspension kit is stock aside from some coilovers.
I just installed these lights. Brake lights work but actual tailight running lights dont. Even with headlights on or parking lights. My manual has zero fuses for running lights help
New follower, just bought a 08 GT you paid 450 for tail lights, they look great, not for me at that price unless I have money laying around, love your videos
Speedform Blackout Panel: www.americanmuscle.com/mustang-rear-blackout-panel.html But I think I am going to replace it with this one: www.mrbodykit.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=20_89_561&products_id=251&zenid=a51e6fbdd6cfa2fdb39ad76092a2b6ec
the hole for the key looks strange. unfortunately the truefiber panel is not available anymore ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-velWbX2EBIM.html
In terms of power upgrades, honestly the best value would be to just get a supercharger (like a Roush R2300). Huge bang for the buck and the difference will be night and day. If you're not looking to throw that much bread at it at once, standard early mods would be: - Cold Air Intake w/ Tune ($500 - $700) - Wheel & Tire Package ($1,300 - $2,000+) - Lowering Springs ($300) - Long Tube Headers ($600 - $1,400) You can see my build sheet at: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1hVIZx8W_6PMGEG0bqVcpb3FUmJhsc5FHKiF8nt7t1EM/edit?usp=sharing
