This is probably the best channel I’ve ever seen based around a single build

I really like the fact you’re not afraid to change up the original plan if you’re unhappy with something. Very admirable! I also feel your pain about the paint shop. Mine is down due to corona and I’ll be waiting for a bit afterwards and I have a lot of parts I would like to get painted for my s197.

Said it before and I'll say it again, the best content on RU-vid is right here. Love the changes you made. It always sucks when a mod you've envisioned doesn't exist the same way you'd hoped. Slight changes with OEM parts give such good results on the s197, it's got great bodylines.

Hey four eyes I know building a channel up like this is very expensive because you're doing it with a car but coming from a gearhead don't stop man you're on a roll and you have supreme editing skills make it happen!

So glad syder started selling the taillights I picked up a pair of white vector taillights from eBay and I put piece of black vinyl over the reflectors and reverse light which makes it look so much better.

Looks great! I think the step back to OEM Grill was the right choice! And the C/S - GT500 combo is my absolute favorit on the s197! Keep up the great work! And since your goal is keeping the clean s197 look: You maybe keep the OEM hood but add some heat extractors (like 13/14 S197 hood) to keep down the IAT when your s/c your car. That'll be my next step.

Been waiting man, and thank god you went back to the factory grill!! Looks so much better/more original. Ported heads is unexpected, but I’m very hyped to see your results.

It turned out awesome. I have an '07 California Special, now I need to add splitters on the front and side. Glad to know the GT500 one will work. Great job again as per usual!

I agree, I love the stock grill. I thought about replacing the grill on my 08 GT to look more like the bullit, but I decided not to in the end.

I agree with you, the factory grill gives it a smooth look.

Car is looking amazing! In my opinion the best option regarding the hood is keeping it simple by just adding a SpeedForm or MMD hood scoop. The hood scoop takes care of the plain look of the stock hood.

Front GT500 lip looks good. The grill and headlights look good. I think you should tint the fog lights with some light smoke tint, not super dark. And paint the pony badge on the grill gloss black

Trufiber A52 Hood fully functional out of the box, no extra ram air parts to buy. Had mine for 2 years and no problems with form or paint. Air comes in the ram air vents and feeds the factory engine air inlet location. Two huge heat extractors, though you will need to purchase rain guards for the extractors, about $ 70.00. These are held in with push pins, easy in and out.

I prefer the blacked out headlights. Gives it more of a classic look to it

I went with the retro style black projector headlights for the same reasoning you had. Really like what you did to those headlights. You for sure have a one off set of headlights now. Love the videos and the build. Cant wait to see your numbers after the head work!

Best mustang content vids on RU-vid! The front splitter and side splitters look great, never have liked those headlights because the bulb ring is way to small compared to stock. The factory grill is the way to go imo and those halos are sick!!!, now I want to swap out my raxiom halos.

It looks so good man, and I’m so glad you kept the oem grille. I always loved it the led fog lights really did what they needed to do. Just don’t ride with red or blue on or you’ll get pulled over lol

I have these on my 2008 and I like the way they look at night with the tri bar. Not a bad price and fairly simple install. I also installed the pony delete Eleanor style grille with the halo fog lights and the Axial chrome turn signals.

AND SINCE YOU CAN PROPERLY TAKE APART YOUR HEADLIGHTS AND PUT THEM TOGETHER, YOU COULD PROBABLY SWAP OVER THE PROJECTORS INTO THOSE.. IT WOULD LOOK SO SICK

There’s not a better channel out there for S197 owners, so fun to watch. Stock grill looks great, added honeycomb is tasteful, splitter seems redundant but that’s kinda the new look these days. CS rear bumper next 😈

It looks great! I think if I do this same thing I would also black out the chrome ring on the projector. Or maybe even black chrome it, to give it a less beady eye look to it.

I like the stock grill and headlight look great. I had a chin spoiler but getting to close the curb ... Well it was pretty it never seen the light of day again
