Installing Roof Rack Crossbars! (2021-2023 Kia Sorento / MQ4) (SnailFly - FLUSH RAILS ONLY) 

the use of the quick clamps was the best! made a difficult mount very easy.

Same steps applied for installing SnailFly roof rails on 2021 Hyundai Palisade. Much appreciated!

once everything was installed, i used gorilla tape to tape the plastic caps so they would not fall off. this was a common complaint. only downside is it makes it more difficult to check/re-tighten the bolts every so often. Making sure the bolts are still tight is extremely important, so this is worth it.

thank you soo much! The instructions included were cryptic at best and needed a microscope to see. My instructions suggest a torque pattern and 53.6lb per inch (NOT PSI) torque... I didn't see that in this video though.... Edit to add: I installed mine yesterday. By using the torque pattern guide and pressure (torque wrench, which took some calculating) given in the instructions, I had no trouble putting the locking caps on...

Hello. Great video and awesome ride. Question, does this racks fit or are compatible with a 2022 Kia Sorento SX Prestiege? I am thinking of putting these on mine.

I was not able to get the "clamps" or "brackets" sit flush on the rails. Every time I tightened them down the outside would ride up a bit and not be in the sloped outside notch but just sitting on the side. Its very sturdy with I grab it but I am nervous to put my carrier on it and travel a far distance. Do your brackets lay flat and are the outside flanges below the angled grooves? Also, I had to move mine pretty far back because the rails seem too short (I think this is part of the problem). When I put them at the recommended distances the adjustment screws were maxed out.

I got these for my 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe but are the same product. How did you determine the placement?

How did you determine where to put the crossbars?

Do you think those crossbars clamps will scratch deeply the flushrails? I found others have super scratch flush rails due to crossbars.

Bought the same. I can't seem to turn the key on the crossbar covers. Were you having the same problem and had to use those grips? Was there specific placements to put the grips at?

You skipped step 1: "Remove the outer cover". Video starts with end caps off, but product ships with the end caps on. I'm fairly strong and can't get the off. It's not clear how to remove them.
