Why do all light installation videos only show how to drill a hole and fasten screws? The tough part is correctly wiring to the bus and switch. Is there a part 2 video out there somewhere?
Jeff Cooper ya I did run the wire to the panel. Till a few months later. Had problems getting them going. If I remember correctly. Two wire’s have to go to the positive.
what do you mean great video? it stops half way through. there is no wiring, finished product? 8 minutes of drilling a hole in the bottom of a boat, and done. LMAO
Ok so they might slow me down a light bit. But if I hit something on the bottom. I will lose my Rutter and propeller first. So I don’t think I would be worried about lights at that point. But that’s just my opinion. Some people like text these days I don’t know? do you have a boat?
@@colonandre I think this manufacturers recommendation is assuming that you have a powerboat moving at high velocity, probably not a factor in a sailboat such as this maxing at 10 knots. What do you think Teddy? How are they working for you?
The reason for the mounting instructions is there is a maximum depth for these lights and he's definitely way below it. Good luck I'm curious to see if they survive.
