How to Install Tack strip onto a concrete (cement) floor. We use PL premium with a misting of water to help the adhesive cure faster.

Much easier, faster and stronget way....... drill pilot holes , and use 1" × 1/8 concrete nails

Tracey Beaves That won't work if you have in floor heating system, right? Maybe that's why they didn't hammer in the nails.

Please don’t spread your adhesive. Pout it using Taylor’s. It will be much easier to pull up when you need to and it will hold just fine

Is it really necessary to uses that much glue for the pad? Hate to be the next guy.

Not necessarily, is a cheap glue that breaks down easily later when removing it.
