Good to hear that you are a "part-time medical doctor." In my medical career, I was a professional gynecologist and later an amateur experimental aircraft builder. I hear many experimental airplane builders are quite professional, but also strive to be amateur gynecologists! LOL!
lol..when Bryan returned the first thing i thought he came back for was a doughnut laying on the workbench... but went for the lights, i was disappointed ..lol
Mark, as usual you are doing a great job that shows in how nice the windshield fits. Your attention to detail makes the job look easy even though we know it's not that easy. Thanks for the top quality video and sound. I do appreciate the effort you make to do it well.
Great job - will be very helpful when I get to install mine. I have a "practice" front windshield courtesy of the shipping company whose forklift driver skewered my finishing crate and plunged into my front windshield.
Mark, when your planning a work day on the plane do you have to pre-consider every shot and angel? That must take up an enormous amount of time out of the actual work to be done !
No I just see what I need to do, and then get the camera and explain what I'm going to do, or what I've already done. Yes it takes a tremendous amount of time to film a build but I like the creative part of filming and editing. Actually I like making flying videos better so I'm excited to get this airplane done and then just focus on making fun camping/flying/traveling videos!
It's from Strong Enterprises. I don't remember the model number but I did pay extra for upgraded low profile buckles. It was a real comfortable chute when I tried it on at Oshkosh!
Would have it been better to cut the top off and slide it up That would not change the windshield angle I think an Oscillating Multi-Tool might be easier to make the cut. Good luck
No. The angle of the windshield makes no difference. And to move it back without cutting the bottom, I would have had to really cut a lot away where it goes around the spar. Best way is to cut from the bottom.
