Installing the door on an Eclisse Syntesis Line pocket door system 

Can you fit bias soft closer there ?

does it need trim on the edge of door frame before plaster? if not ,will the door frame corner be easily damaged because it is plasterboard? or need to install something else round the door fram, like mdf board, plywood board?
