+Sammy TheDog I do not plan a vacuum pump, I am hoping the regen will provide enough assistance, it will be adjustable and tunable but I wont know for sure until we start driving it. My hope is the ABS system and regen will all work together. Fingers are crossed!

+EASTSIDERIDER707 The Automatic transmission mount is minus the 3rd finger.....There is a motor mount on the accessory side of the motor that I will be incorporating into the custom accessory plate I am designing and building for the A/C pump and Powersteering pump.

you just have to use the Gasket as a template to cut the metal to match the gearbox aad than drill holes for Bolts the metal plate

+Geo Spen I think he is using the harmonic balancer (Crank pulley) for the pulleys for the accessories. A better solution would be to get an aftermarket crank pulley for that shaft that is lighter for less rotating mass to improve performance and efficiency, you can get a lightweight aluminum pulley that would imo be way better than the heavy harmonic balancer/crank pulley designed for that 4cyl engine. The OEM ones are really heavy and most engines are internally balanced, so the external harmonic "balancer" is just a crank pulley that is isolated from the accessory drives by a rubber section to keep the vibration noise isolated from the crank, at least on my V6 VG30DETT Nissan engine it's a bit of a misnomer.

My guess would be that the motor controller can be programmed so that 0% throttle still equals a low rpm when stopped with the A/C is on. He said the transmission is a manual, so that would then mimic an engine at idle.

You can get electric A/C and power steering pumps, or you can add those accessories using various adaptors in a traditional belt driven manner to the other end of the engine from the gearbox.

The electric motor torque peaks at about 3500rpm. The ICE engine peaks much higher. So the existing transmission isn't a good match when compared to the ICE engine. But on the other hand we are not going to cruise at 100mph. At 75mph the civic turns 3000rpm. I don't anticipate any problems at all with highway speeds, but we probably wont use 1st gear in the city.
