We got this mixer lift on sale at Lee Valley quite some time ago and we were ready to install it. It didn’t come with directions and it was marked down to half off. GJ had to tighten a rivet to make sure it wasn’t wobbly and it was ready to install. I found the directions online and we went to town. Our mixer is 17” and the lift says for appliances 16” or less. So we lowered it a little over an inch to start. We ended up lowering it two more times before we could get the mixer to clear the countertop support. GJ came up with a really interesting way to install the springs that I bet Lee Valley never thought of. I wish it would have came with clear direction for installing the springs because it was impossible to do just by hand.
I cannot wait to get the kitchen finished and be able to reveal it to all of you.
