I’ve installed many major brands of tubs and wall kits and found mustee to be far superior in build quality. The quality is unmatched, they are very strong and sturdy compared to other brands like Lyons and sterling!
Same here: no mounting clips. The manual lists what should be included and clips aren't mentioned (contradicting the video). Instead step 3 in the manual contains " Once the Shower Floor is positioned, it can be retained in the alcove using the following options: 1. Install large headed roofing nails over the tile flange on each stud as shown in Fig. B 2. Install deck screws (#8 min.) through predrilled 1/8“ dia. holes in the tile flange. Place a dab of silicone in the pre-drilled holes before installing screws. Do not over-tighten screws as tile flange will not flex. Shims may be needed to fill any gaps between studs and tile flange. " But I think the clips as shown in the video will be better. I went back to the supplier and they gave me the clips, part number 700.601. It seems they've changed the product since the video was produced. Surprised clips are no longer included. Perhaps there is a reason?
Only some models come w clips, check the manual. I used nails to secure mine just overlapping. Then I trimmed the thickness of my backer just to sit over the lip flush on the studs.
