Thanks so much for the sub! Sorry for the late response! It is possible to install the heads up display but I think I may need a different dash frame so have not put too much effort into that yet. Maybe in the future!
It was because they owned MINI vehicles. They need what they were getting into. They understood the awesome nature of the vehicle REGARDLESS of the POSSIBLE costs of maintenance. I just bought a Cooper S Coupeover the Internet. The dealer said the check engine light was on, but they couldn't figure out why. Without asking, he took $3000 off the price. SOLD! Because I then had bandwidth for a POSSIBLE $3000 in repairs. And I absolutely wanted the coupé S. What I'm saying is, they were MINI people. That's why they did sweat you maintenance "what ifs".
The Services being taken care of at the dealership has been bleeding me lately. I never missed a maintenance appointment and yet, every time something comes up it's above $1000 to fix lmao I love the car but money doesn't grow in trees lol
Do you know if the F60 b35 engine countryman would work with this ? Or it's best to just remove the previous head unit and check for the connections you said

Hey Ethan, Great Update as always. But i wonder why your „speedo-circle-background“ isn’t blue with the new LCI2 head unit? I thought only the old headunit systems which are still working for the digital cluster, would have the black „speedo-circle-background“ I know that you can update the firmware from the old „large display“ headunits, so that the digital cluster turns blue. But I really wonder why you’re speedo is black. I personally prefer the blue background for the speedo, that’s why i can’t get myself to the point upgrading it yet. But now I wonder if you maybe can code the colors? I’m confused.
Thanks for the question! I found out that it depends on the bdc version. I can’t currently get the infotainment system dark theme because of that too. Currently on holiday but when I get back I’ll see if I can flash the bdc with new software and I believe that should be the solution. I’ll probably do a video or a RU-vid shorts with the results

Hi, I have a mini 2017 F54. I have already retrofitted the head unit to an Evo (with navigation) and a digital cluster. However, my digital cluster does not show navigation when I navigate. My installer does not have any idea. Do you know what is missing? Thanks
