Can you put the stripping in without removing the cards? Yes you can. Here at Planet6parts we show you how it's done. A little prep goes a long way to achieving this however.
The circlip pliers are brilliant idea,I was struggling with this,I was using a telescopic tool with a magnet on the end to retrieve my clips for the bottom of the door till I watched this.
I know that feeling, but that's how we learn. Iv picked my fair share of clips out of the door so like most of my videos it's about finding a way to do it better. Trial and error all the way. Glad this video helped. John
Great tutorial! I’m new to these cars. I’m assembling a car I didn’t take apart. Can you install the rubber seal and then the window? The door is just a bare shell with everything but the latch off.
Hello. I take it you mean Door Glass when you mention Window..? The Door Glass (with Bottom Regulator Traveller attached) will not pass between the Inner & Outer Glass Weather Seals gap, as the steel Regulator Traveller is thicker than the above gap. Weather Seals are fitted last. Any further questions, am happy to assist as I'm in process off, (before a back injury).
