I bough GL1500 GW over 4th this year. Owner put windshield wiper an delay but getting cracks! I drilled small holes to stop cracks but now want to remove wiper an replaced damaged shield, then make it shorter.
I wouldn't try a wiper on a plastic windshield unless you're ready to replace the windshield every year because of wiper marks and scratches. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Been there, done that! It's amazing accessory parts need so much adjustment! An shame now you have one clip weaker than other! An windshield up/down adjustments should work too with accessory windshield!
I don't want to ride it much anyway. I rode bikes all over the country from coast to coast and even dipped into Mexico once about 33 years ago. I'm thinking about finding an old SilverWing to restore and ride it around town a bit more than the GoldWing.
