@@NightcoreBrawler Yeah they are a small Australian band. Seen them a few times. They are alt/rock I guess. Check out their song Loser, thats the one playing
I feel bad for that L plater...I had an instance once when I was learning where this guy was sitting right up my clacker and I was terrified that he was gonna hit me as the lights turned orange, and I was still super new to it so I saw those orange lights as reds and stopped (not terribly sudden) but I couldn't stop fully until I was about 3/4 over the line Cops pulled me over, I was in tears...meanwhile Dad, level headed god, grabs the number plate of the guy hands it to the cops and away they go 5 km down the road, there is the cops and the douche bag on the side of the road getting ticketed for tail gating
Only time I was pulled over was when I was on my early Ls, was a regional train-station where I went across the level-crossing after the boom-gates went up but I just didn't even think to check if the lights were still flashing. Thankfully the cop realised I had made an extremely honest newbie mistake and she let me off with a warning, I learnt my lesson for sure and always pay more attention at level-crossings now.
@MusicManMaurice In heavy stop/go traffic, I'll watch the mirror and stop sometimes a half car length back from the one in front, and as the car behind, draws close to stop, I let off the brake and move up closer to the one in front and the car behind has stopped a half car length behind...
The one at 8:00 is pretty special. Running a red, from standstill, with a uniformed copper standing right next to you. You can see the cop doing a double-take, to confirm that someone really was that silly.
Reason to obey 40km/h in roadworks area is I saw a dead road worker lying in the middle of a road in a work zone. It was horrible. I was in denial when I saw it as I thought they were just filming a TV show or something. People just don't slow down.
@@JDG2nd You don't see the cop to the right. Have you considered the cop waved the driver through to get him/her out of the intersection? There was a distinct horn beep right before he resumed his travels.
i reckon the instructor told me to speed up and go through then he saw it turn red and was an instinct to stop se he did, then he was gonna reverse back and then the instructor said just go that’s my thought process
@@JDG2nd Cop honked, obviously wanted him to run it because it's safer, he was too far across the line and was obviously struggling to back up - best to just run it at that point
I have the same feeling. Taking such joy in it doesn't sit right with me. I get the safety issue and the need for these people to be pulled up. But still.
Boring miserable ppl getting joy because someone is doing 10-15 over the limit and getting done. No wonder we live in a nanny state country totally controlled, these are the ppl that want the gov to run their lives. The same morons that feel comfortable knowing jesus has a plan for their life. FO
I watched about 6 of these Dash Cam video's tonight & I actually enjoyed the joy of listening to drivers & passengers cheering on the Traffic Police Officers when they speed off to pull speeding drivers over. It is a bloody good thing that they do & you guys n gals showing your appreciation in a very important way by supporting the Traffic Officers, I too support them too. Cheers Australian appreciative citizens.
I mean, pulling radical maneuvers with an unmarked around I can understand, they're designed to blend in. But running a red light directly in front of a marked police car is just plain stupid. I always drive like the police are watching. That way I never have to deal with any problems breaking the law. You never know which one is the unmarked.
Yeah, like the mongrel 10 to 15 year old shit boxes of "covert" vehicles that Queensland use for a roadside speed camera set up. Like the one they used at a school zone at Sevenleigh, just South of Stanthorpe a couple of years back. Sighted in a 100km/h posted limit that drops to 80km/h during school hours, (9am till 11am, and 2.30pm till 4.00 pm), with the school nowhere in sight and, zero evidence of vehicles dropping off children, even up a side road. I should add it was placed there during NSW daylight saving, where NSW residents from nearby Tenterfield, will shop in Stanthorpe, (56ks) or Warwick. (115ks away). So with Queersland not into DST, the unwary NSW driver, coming through Sevenleigh at 11.30 NSW DST, spots the school time zone hours and figures, ah, no worries mate, it's already gone 11 o' clock, but, no, it's actually 10.30 QLD time. That'll be $267.00, thanks very much. I'd have to say the thing that literally screams *revenue raising* is the fact that the MRD could quite easily make Sevenleigh a permanent 80 km/h zone, just like Glen Aplin a few kilometres to the South, although at present it's restricted to 60 km/h due to highway upgrading. Also, Queensland Gold Coast residents can tell you all about the use of old cars,Utes, and vans that they employ as covert speed camera vehicles. Been there, and have been done by them for a few lousy Ks over the limit. Beware Christine Avenue, Varsity Lakes, just East of Aldi. So, remember to drive safe, and to treat every parked vehicle as though it might be a possible speed camera set up...
@@Cassxowary To make matters worse, local police where I live tend to convert vehicles seized under hoon laws to unmarked police cars. I've genuinely seen people pulled over by uniformed officers in a minivan.
The minor speeding offences are pretty bland, but watching drivers like the one at 11:38 who doesn't understand staying in their lane during a turn actually get spotted driving poorly and pulled over is very satisfying.
@John Barrett I have no idea what you are trying to say but you have just insulted yourself again lol I have a feeling you don't actually know what your first comment means.
There's a dash cam compilation of hit and runs, and one of the videos you actually see the cop pull the person out of the car and pushed him to the ground and cuff him. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PwmfyawM5xw.html It's honestly a great video and very satisfying seeing these people get caught.
I love Aussie dashcam videos, the commentary of the OP's is priceless, jeeze you Aussies are great at swearing. Also, what about those two videos back to back, first one with the road safety ad about speeding on the radio, second with the song about cops coming for you. Talk about serendipitous!
@@phillipoliverholtz9226 oh shut up. Sick of ppl saying this with no proof. Tangible proof where it says ' must get x amount in fines' or some BS like that. If you're right, then bang on, say it as much as you want. And yeah sometimes their calls are dodgy but that's why u challenge it if you can prove it. Bet u laugh at ppl getting pinged, would use the coppas for help but if they caught u or ur mates doin nething, then they'd all be fuck heads ay. Smfh

This is all well known and literally were the first 2 results when I googled "police force quotas australia", maybe next time actually look for the evidence instead of asking for it?
@@Marianna_K_ I think it's just an overall joke about how you always see places that you think you know but then realise it's not them, it happens to me all the time with these videos
Driving through a red light after a cop walking on the road, walks past your car. That's as dumb as me on my P's seeing a guy up ahead get flashed, then accelerating towards the camera.
I always picture the cop walking up to the driver and saying, "Sir, you are not getting a ticket for running a red light, you are getting one for being dumb as a post."
7:00 that 40zone was there for like 5 years and people just went whatever speed they wanted. I used to live right there in Marion and people would get upset if you were doing the speed limit.
I used to do 80 because meh. I have eyes though and can see police, unlike the guy in the video who didn't see them following him. It was 40 for all the dummies who can't drive. Hence the reason it was 60 for so long before going to 80...
Man try the variable speed limits on the Bruce Highway... Do 60 where it says to I promise you'll get flashed or worse. Sux as a learner. Then you figure out to just do the same speed everyone else is doing, if you get pulled over you can explain you were afraid of being a hazard and getting rear ended and just driving to the conditions
40kmh fake road works are the driving curse of australia. Everyone needs to do 40 because all the signs have gone out and tomorrow someone might or might not be mowing the lawn.
I always just did 40 there if that's what the limit was, if any prick behind me wanted to throw a tantrum because I don't want to get a fine and lose points then that's their bloody problem. Really didn't notice all that many people who were bothered though.
@@mowie1236 Don't think so. The UHF bit prior to the pull over there was only one side of the discussion. And after he stopped he wound the window down.
Jeff well that’s the RRP but Mercedes always discount a bit. It would have to be the only one at that price though, the next closest being maybe a Megane Tropjy RS R at $75-80k. Both those are the fully worked sports division cars and fairly rarefied - the average hot hatch is more $50-60k and offers a lot of performance and practicality for the money. Also not only driven by the stereotype alluded to in this thread...just as many middle aged white guys (and some girls) from what I see.
@@Elyeyefrancisco well they did poach top designers from BMW and Audi some years ago. As a stinger owner though, I’m not complaining - bloody great car
Maybe, but i also reckon he shed a tear or two over the fine he received too. The song is Tears Don't Fall by Bullet for My Valentine, its an absolute banger.
I love my stinger. It goes fast and looks good doing it. And yes, there have been a bunch of times when people visibly slow down near me until they realise I’m not police. 😉
@@MrQuackcorn Agree that's the law, but it's still poor driving practice and rude to boot. Cops should have pulled over a few of these cammers and gave them a lecture about good driving practice. Also I think one was a 100 zone.
2:56 I didn't see anything wrong with this, is it because the red car changed lane too close to the truck? (Nvm I found it, changed lane without blinkers)
I was wondering same thing. I'm learning to drive and a couple where I had to check and stuff. Was about to comment exactly that, so hard to see in the light
Not sure which ones you're referring to, but some of the less obvious were: 1:22 Sounds like the cam car driver mentions he was on a phone (hard to see where the solid line starts so unclear if that was the issue; while the lane change was significantly less aggressive than I see daily on my commute - not really worth a horn given such can trigger road rage in some). 2:17 Car in the distance laying down quite a bit of rubber and smoke. 2:32 I'm guessing speeding/excessive noise (squealing tires), unless he also did something before coming into shot (quite possible). 2:57 Changed lanes without indicating. 3:27 Speeding and/or no indicating. Most likely the former given the distances involved. 5:05 I'm guessing on a phone. He wasn't indicating, but given he's in a turning only lane that's rather clutching for technical breaches if it was only that. 5:24 Illegal u-turn at the traffic lights ahead.
11.36 timing is everything right. Doing something stupid right in front of a cop, dashcam recording an idiot driver doing the wrong thing and being caught, plus having the right song on when the idiot gets booked 😂😂😂”when the cops come…”🤣🤣🤣
