Love the music! So calm and peaceful.....

That was the intent. Indeed, choosing the right music cue for a video is critical; the wrong piece of music can destroy an otherwise good video.

This video is cool ! It teaches you every step to make awesome tasting Japanese rice 🍚 🌾 !! I enjoyed the peaceful music in the background !! I also loved the shots that you did ! One thing I noticed is that you didn’t say what to do for different types of brands of Japanese rice , because maybe for different types of Japanese rice , there are many ways to cook it and for how long you should do it . ! Well either way it was a good video !!
@UFOBobTV

Glad you enjoyed it! As for "different brands of Japanese rice", from my experience, there's no difference in how you make it. I know that with other types of rice, such as Batsami, the cooking time is different but the title makes it clear, this is about Japanese rice.

Good video I would have like to see variations other than just the instapot. You are the only person I know that has one but then I don't get out often. You could also show how ancient rice cooking happened over coal or maybe even in an iron pot over a bon fire at the beach. Make beachball onigiris. Yahoo

Hi Dan, I have one video where I cooked rice in the microwave. Your idea about how Japanese rice was cooked centuries ago is intriguing and I shall research it. Perhaps it is a story I can do. Thanks for the suggestions.

Amount of water?
@UFOBobTV
@UFOBobTV 3 года назад
The ratio is one to one, so 1 cup rice =1 cup of water. I apologize. I forgot to add this info in the video, but I did add it to the description box.
@kamikazitsunami

There has been a bit of controversy over how much water to rice you should use for long grain versus Japanese rice and this is something your video should have addressed.

I specifically state "Making Japanese Rice" in the title, so I didn't see the need to cover that in the video. Never-the-less, I appreciate that you mentioned it.
