This reminds me of another Italian guy recipe. My fav Michelangelo tortellini this one has mushrooms. One time we ordered from our Favorite Restaurant. We got it to go. The container has about 2 inches of butter on top before you stir it. Talk about rich , that night I went to the emergency room and had my glad-bladder removed ! Sad to say but I still love it. Who needs a gad-bladder anyway !
I just wanted to say I tried this recipe today -and YUM! This is the first time I've cooked in the pressure cooker and I loved the ease of use and the results were amazing. Can't wait to try more of your recipes
I made this tonight with oven basted rosemary and garlic butter pork chops! It was definitely a big hit! Thank you so much for all you do on your channel! I point all my friends with an instant pot your way! 💗
Would there be enough room in the 8QT to double the recipe I do lots of meal prep and if I can double the food with out doubling the mess that would be great
Omg I'm going to try this! I just got my instant pot Sunday for mother's day and so far just made split pea soup. Then maybe your Chinese pork tenderloin. I can watch you all day! You make me laugh, lol...
Yummy! Have you heard of the clip trick? You use a big binder clip on your inner liner and the outer pot and it stops the inner pot from moving while stirring.
This look so good and easy to boot!! Richard is one lucky guy. He gets to eat all of your IP creations! Does Richard do any cooking? My husband cannot make ice!!!
Haha! I also like to think he;s luck too with all this cooking he gets to try! But he's also a tasting guinea pig too! He has some great Southern tricks up his sleeve that I'll feature him in soon!
I want to make this in my mini. Can I substitute bacon for pancetta and white part of green onion for shallot oh and by the way did I tell you I want to use frozen ravioli. LOL you are awesome but I live in the backwoods and have trouble finding ingredients.
I really like your videos. First, you would definitely make it on the cooking channel. Second, you are right; "Better than Bouillon" should be paying you!
Why in the world would you make this in the instapot? By the time the instant pot come to pressure, plus the four minutes to cook it, you could have done this in a regular pan. Also with the amount of stirring you're doing you are destroying those tortellinis!!
FYI - the story behind "alfredo sauce" is NOT a person. Apparently it's a fairly traditional sauce that most nonnas in Italy know, but it was Mary Pickford and Douglas Fairbanks Jr. who apparently honeymooned in Italy and went to a RESTAURANT named "Alfredo's" and loved it so much they kinda made it famous here in the USA. So "Alfredo" is for the restaurant not a particular person.
