Instant Pot Whole Chicken Ingredients:
►1 Whole Chicken (see size chart below)
►4-5 cloves garlic, peeled and smashed
►2 tsp fine sea salt
►1 teaspoon onion powder1 tsp garlic powder
►1/2 tsp paprika
►1/4 tsp black pepper,
►1 sprig of rosemary, minced
►1 sprig of thyme, minced
►8 Tbsp unsalted butter(melted)
►1 cup low sodium chicken broth
►1 lemon, halved, (divided into 1/2 lemon + 1 Tbsp juice)
Chicken Gravy Ingredients:
►3 Tbsp unsalted butter
►3 Tbsp all-purpose flour
Instant Pot Whole Chicken Cooking Times (Size Chart):
►3 lbs = 18 minutes on high pressure with 15-min natural release
►3 1/2 lbs = 21 minutes on high pressure with 15-min natural release
►4 lb = 24 minutes on high pressure with 15-min natural release
►4 1/2 lb = 27 minutes on high pressure with 15-min natural release
►5 lb = 30 minutes on high pressure with 15-min natural release

OMG OMG OMG!!! I followed this to the letter. It was amazing. My WHOLE family went nuts. I came because I was following the Cobb Salad construction. I knew my grands would rather have the chicken and sides(potatoes, green beans, peas, broccoli). Well, well well. Everybody was very happy! My dieting son, my carb challenged daughter, my carnivorous hubby, and most importantly (😌) my grand babies!! From one 4.5 lb chicken. The gravy was exceptional!!! Thank you thank you! Not using another recipe for a go to chicken. I was out of the kitchen in 45mins, that included washing the dishes!

First of all love your videos and presentations. The camera work excellent. I got an Insta Pot for Christmas and just a little nervous about using it. Anything with pressure is a little intimidating. Get one get one get one. Amazon has a really good sale on Black Friday. I got mine for $60 for 8 qt size. There are other brands, they do the same thing for less. It may not last as long, but.. a savings is a savings. The directions are the same just use the equivalent buttons.

I love that your videos are do-able, but deliciously elegant. The first time i watched one of your videos was right before Christmas 2018. this is hands down the best chicken I've ever made. It looks beautiful, is simple in prep / ingredients, and there is so much flavor. I didnt have chicken stock, lemons, fresh herbs, or whole garlic cloves. I used chicken stock powder, lemon juice, dried herbs, and pre minced garlic, and it still turned out! I made this with mash potatoes This was even a hit with the picky eater in the house. thank you!

Made this for dinner tonight. This is a fantastic recipe! Thank you so much for sharing! My wife's mother always made the best gravy from drippings; this is the first time in my life that I have made gravy from drippings. The chicken was juicy, the gravy so much better than anything from a package or store bought. I also made your creamy mashed potatoes to go with the chicken and gravy. This is a hit! I love you Natasha, (and family) you are my "kitchen wife" (and family) 🙂.

Natasha! I made this last nigjt and OMG it was so good! I didnt have the fresh ingredients, but I used dried and it worked just as well. My husband loved it! We have left overs and will probably make Chicken salad. The gravy was super simple and full of flavor. Thanks so much!!
