Repetition is key, and also practice. I can do cardistry, but I can't do any of this moves, YET. Why? Because I've never practiced this before. Just be patient and you'll eventually nail it!
I just found interest in cardistry. But I have small hands, and my ring and pinky are odd. Even the first exercise is a awkward and very imperfect for me, my pinky likes to follow my ring finger. It only gets easier if I keep these up, right?
I also play piano and I agree. Any stretch in the hand that increases dexterity and coordination in the hands will benefit piano players or any instrument
Used to do those finger moves when I was bored in class in grammar school. I'm 67 now and arthritis is setting in. I'm not as flexible as I used to be. These exercises should help keep the arthritis at bay. Would love to see more. Most flourishes I try to do end up as a 52 pick-up.
@@xsubz9838 Try to always stay positive and see the good in people. Laugh often, but not at other's expense. If you can, always try to "pay it forward." That doesn't always mean money. Open doors for people and compliment them. People feel better when you tell them they look nice. My favorite saying is, "When you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours!"
Well I think these moves are great for cardistry help as well as just about anything that uses your fingers intensely. I'll probably use these for cardistry and bass warm-ups and get my friend that plays electric guitar to try some! Keep up the great work and yes more videos like this would be appreciated.
Filip Baader I think the dexterity required to play the piano isn't enough for cardistry. Piano is easy, all you need to do is press the keys precisely, cardistry is however really different.
Well i'll tell you 1 think for certain and that is that piano is not easy at all. I've been playing for About 9 years now. For example the cardistry that i do on my channel i learned in about a year, and you can compare that to what you would learn if you would play the piano for a year. :D
Ok... HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW THE FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK.
I like these exercise, it will helps you in most of the moves you'll learn. I'm following some videos of Jim Kwik (one of the fastest learner) and he also suggests a few similar exercises that help connect two hemisphere of the brain, boosting the learning process.
you know what, at first glance, these exercises might seem a little silly. But I have to say, I have been doing them and my card moves are getting better! Thanks!
Where is that beautiful landscape? Couldn't make out (I'm German) what you said those mountains are called. Awesome colors!!! Fun fact: When you turn on the automatic subtitles it says "antibiotic mountains" :)
This doesn't INSTANTLY improve anything. Over time you increase your dexterity and co-ordination.. But to say it instantly improves your cadistry is just more clickbait bullshit.
I have a question with exercise 4: My pinky fingers have a hard time bending down due to my ring fingers wanting to bend down with them, any tips to help with that?
Great video :-) I was wondering if you could make a tutorial on how to do your outro. Im about to make videos myself and that outro would take my videos to another level. Thanks
I am curious if you are having issues with having your finger cross would it be helpful to use your second hand to help move your fingers to cross each other to get them use to streching like that?
Hey can you please reveal the trick where the magician puts the card box inside the spectator's pocket and asks them to select a card in their mind and the selected card gets upside down
Omg why does this feel so uncomfortable almost gross 😂. I had to shake my hands out a couple times doing this, my pinky and ring finger are struggling lol.
