Thanks! This is my biggest struggle. I have really short fingers so it’s hard for me to reach the chords so matter how I hold my tenor uke. There are many chords I can’t even make because my fingers can’t stretch to reach. It’s frustrating but I just don’t play them. I’m in the learning stage but I’m not giving up!

Hi Katie, if you're mostly strumming easy chords you may be ok without a strap, but if you play chords higher up the neck and/or fingerstyle, then a strap may be helpful. You can always give it a try without a strap and see how it feels. Personally I find a strap helpful on any size uke 😊

I have read that the thumb should not be visible from the front yet I see so many accomplished musicians playing with their thumb almost wrapped around the fretboard..

Hello Lara. I have a question: I am play a high-G tuned ukulele. Are your (Patreon)video's and TABs for Low-G ukes only?

Hi Fred, my songsheets use strumming and fingerpicking patterns that can be played with either high or low G tuning. My fingerstyle tab arrangements are generally for low G tuning as I find the lower notes helpful to use in melodies. I do have a few tab arrangements that are played on only 2 or 3 strings (and don't use the G string), but most of my arrangements use a low G. Thanks for the question!
