What about all the guys with the fancy sharpening wheels that say you have to have the contoured wheel to keep from making your blade flat? They say making the blade flat on a stone ruins it. (Honest question, wanted to sharpen mine without having to buy one of those expensive sharpeners. I could but a lot of blades with that money)
Suggestion, use a diamond stone on you wet stone to make sure your sharpening stone is flat. Many sharpening stones have high and low spots. Good video.
It would be good to do a demo on how a t outlined cuts after sharpening I'm a chef I use this to sharpen my knife but I tried to let my barber try but he told me it doesn't work the same way
You need an actual sharpening stone. Doesn’t have to be in water but must be soaked before. If you don’t have blade wash use any cleaning solution as long as you remove ALL loose debris. If you use a water based cleaner just make sure it’s completely dry and oil it after.
As a mobile dog groomer I’m pretty excited! I just got off the phone with a mobile sharpening company and he won’t come into town for less than $200. I asked if I could meet him at the grooming salon and he said no 👀😳
