"Purple Haze" is the fourth album by Harlem rapper Cam'ron. It came out on December 7, 2004, through Diplomat Records, Roc-A-Fella Records, and distributed by Def Jam Recordings. This album took longer to release than expected, with delays from November 2003. The first single, "Get Em Girls," came out a year before the album. When it finally dropped, it debuted at number 20 on the Billboard 200, selling 123,000 copies in its first week. The album earned a Gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

Cameron Ezike Giles, born on February 4, 1976, is known as Cam'ron, an American rapper. He started his music journey in the early 1990s using the name Killa Cam. His first two albums, "Confessions of Fire" in 1998 and "S.D.E. (Sports Drugs & Entertainment)" in 2000, were released under Epic Records and earned gold certification by the RIAA. After parting ways with Epic, Cam'ron joined Roc-A-Fella Records in 2001 and dropped his third album, "Come Home with Me," the next year. It got platinum certification and featured hit singles like "Oh Boy" and "Hey Ma." His fourth album, "Purple Haze," released in 2004, was also successful and earned gold certification by the RIAA.
