"Hate It or Love It" is the fourth studio album by American rapper Chingy. It came out on December 18, 2007, under Disturbing tha Peace, Slot-A-Lot Records, and Def Jam South Recordings. Unlike his previous albums, this one wasn't released in the United Kingdom. When it debuted, it entered at number 84 on the Billboard 200 chart, with first-week sales of 30,000 copies in the United States. This marked the lowest chart position for Chingy's albums in his career.

Howard Earl Bailey Jr., born on March 9, 1980, known professionally as Chingy, is an American rapper from St. Louis, Missouri. He went on tour as an opening act with another St. Louis rapper, Nelly, in 2002. That same year, he signed with the record label Disturbing Tha Peace (DTP), owned by the rapper Ludacris from Georgia. His debut single, "Right Thurr," was released in 2003 through a partnership with Capitol Records and reached number two on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Chingy's style is known for its catchy beats and simple lyrics, often delivered in a sing-song, nursery rhyme manner.
