If you're interested in these I'd suggest you start learning .net where you can program F#, C#, VB. All the best! Here is example for google drive apis = > developers.google.com/drive

Thanks sir for another brilliant tutorial. Will love similar library or within same library to read write to google sheets from VBA. Quick question, when using user (OAuth 2.0) the App will request consent from user and it only access the the drive the permission is given to? I understand for service account the app does not request consent because it is can only access the service account drive irrespective of the user.

Thanks for your suggestions. I've something in Google Sheets API too. I'll try and include it in the next version. Coming to your question, yes that is correct. VBA Project App will access the drive of the respective users it has consented.

There are APIs for that (Google Sheets) too however in this custom library Sheets API are not included.

It would be interesting to see if you would be able to automatically run a function to obtain the WebviewLink and the WebContentLink of files in the get list fields for us too, this will help in the automation of sharing files without having to open google drive and giving permissions, I have sent you an email asking something similar few days ago.

Great video, thanks so much for the information. However, I can't get your library to register properly. I get "Class Not Registered" on the "gDrive.startservice (CredInfo)" line of the SetInfo function. It iterates fine through the CredInfo function but the error appears when trying to start the service. Any ideas??

No we cannot without API. Another way would be to install google drive app in system, enable sync, access google drive in windows like any other folder. Hope it helps. If it helps do not forget to support the channel :) Cheers!

Make sure your Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is published or you can add emailed as test user. Make sure the GCP credential you're using to connect have access the object in drive/sheet.

Hi Pamai! Many thanks for awesome content. Every time I run the Sub 'SetInfo' and others with the GoogleapisVBA I get Run-time error '-2147221164 (80040154)' "Class not registered". I have Excel 2019 MSO 16.0.13127.20402 x64 & Win10 Pro 1909. As for the .net 4.7.2 it says ".NET Framework 4.7.2 or a later update is already installed on this computer. " I install the one for developers with no success.
