If LKY wanted power, he wouldn't have created Singapore (introduced Singapore's constitution) to be a constitutional Republic where his party would be threatened every 5 years. That just seems like plain sense. But it seems common sense is less common than most expect to be.

Keep in mind PAP was an opposition that won. He obviously wanted power and he put it to good use - one of which is being democratic and fair. I did not say he craved power to be a dictator. Perhaps you should remind yourself about common sense and reading properly.
