will my msi gl75 1660ti 10th gen i7 with 16gb ram i just ordered be able to handle VR on a oculus rift s pretty decently? i know its compatible but will it be "decent"
i3, i5, i7, and i9 processors don't refer to generations. Those are "tiers" of processors that are found in each generation. If you have an i5 from 9th gen, then an i5 from 10th gen will be more powerful. An i7 or i9 from either 9th gen or 10th gen will be more powerful than a 9th gen i5.
Did you watch our livestream with JJ from ASUS? He goes into full detail about all the ASUS motherboards: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UToPLGkL6as.html
Nope. Not 10900k in gaming. All the hype about IPC gain is nothing more than all talk. IPC game is average instruction over a number of clock. You have to have the same work load for it to be a gain. If you have an IPC game of 13% for video editing. It doesn’t mean much for gaming.
Glad I ordered mine. About to slay Frames... was looking at a 3950x but AMD cpu takes more cores, smaller NM and more threads to ALMOST beat a 10/20 thread out the box. When it over clocks... bye AMD. Mine gonna be 5.2 maybe 5.3. If I win silicon lottery, people are hitting 5.4 with them across all all day. Thanks to custom water cooler system I built. 800L/Hr pump as 1300 psu. Not worried about a damn thing.
Too bad there is no stock. Guess you guys should have been selling it for 800 dollars like eBay to keep your stocks. 600 dollars, which is a phat 18% extra tag didn’t mean much when you don’t have stock. Be more greedy next time plz.
Unbelievable intel. Same 14nm but a new socket!?? New mobo!?? Same ridiculous prices??? Get out of here. That's some BS Intel. You're hanging on to the best gaming cpu by a thread and that should scare you cause that's all you got going for you right now. Such a disappointment 😒
