Nice video! My laptop has the 12th gen i7 1255u & Intel iris ex 8 gb ram 512 gigs ssd works really good for what I do a little bit of coding along with basic video editing
With an iGPU you have to remember RAM (memory subset) shares its memory with the CPU (no dedicated GPU memory). This means that the amount of total system RAM with it's configuration and speed will greatly affect the gaming performance of the iGPU. For example with the Intel Iris on say the Intel Code i5 1235U, there are laptops in which the motherboard supports DDR4 or DDR5 (faster), and some laptops use single channel or dual channel memory configuration. To get the best out of your iGPU make sure you are using DDR5 with a dual channel configuration (two RAM sticks with the same speed and at least 8GB per stick). Same goes for AMD iGPUs... This can literally almost double your iGPU output performance whilst putting less strain on your CPU.
Whilst it is said that iGPUs don't come with dedicated gpu memory, some do come with a little amount of it. Like my Intel iris xe igpu comes with about 128 MB of dedicated gpu memory
Wow! That was actually very helpful.... Thank you so much for your time and efforts... It was very well presented and very simple to understand as well... Thanks again...
ahh, im still confused about intel i7 12700H with intel iris xe 96 eu and ryzen 5 8640 with amd radeon 760M. because in some games, intel iris xe 96eu is better than amd radeon 760M, and in other games, amd radeon 760M is better than intel iris xe 96eu. What do you think I should choose? pls help
In my opinion you should look at your favourite games and then find out which CPU performs better in all those games or most of them. And then make a decision based on that.
Yes, I believe so because I also have the 12th generation but I have the i7 with the smaller 8 gigs of RAM with the iris xe it performs very well. I wish I got it with the 16 gigs of RAM but the battery life is decent
the first strong igpu i know is iris pro 6200 in i5 and i7 gen 5 after having to many time fix my old pc i have to reinstall windows and replace hardware, I learned that not having a GPU will save a lot of trouble.
Is integrated GPU can help discrete GPU workload or it will be wasted if I buy CPU with igpu + discrete gpu? I mean, how igpu works toward the discrete gpu, are they helping each other or discrete work alone and igpu just sit there and do nothing?
I'm using an Intel i3 12100 12th Gen processor, and my iGPU is Intel UHD Graphics 730. The Intel Driver & Support Assistant says I have one software update available, which is Intel Iris Xe. Is it safe to update my driver?
i think u need to more explane how feature in those igpu like Quicsync or driver level gaming experience like (RSR/AFMF) that mostly suitable for some cases
Will AMD IGPU video editing be enabled and smooth, especially when previewing multi track 4K videos? Which one has better performance in video preview, AMD IGPU or Intel UHD770?
sorry but how does a 780M run gta 5 1024x768 @ Low only 160 fps ??? is this a joke, first random benchmark video shows you it can run the gam 1440p at LEAST 60fps this is a decade old game...
Which is better between these two? HP ELITEBOOK G8 840 i5 11ÈME GÉNÉRATION 16GB 512SSD hp intel core i5 intel iris xe graphics .OR . Hp probook x360 435 G8 Ryzen 7 pro 5850 16 go ram 512 ssd nvme 16 processeur et 8 cœurs carte graphique Amd Radeon
i used my 3rd gen i3 for 10 yrs. that time they used both the igpu and dedicated one. i had geforce 820m still can handle tasks but heats up. this time the shopkeepers compelled me to buy amd but i went with intel and hp.
Yes but i think you will need to get a computer with a dedicated graphics. Doesn’t have to be the latest graphics cards. But in the ballpark of 30 series like the 3070
I need some help CPU: T495 Ryzen 5 3500U iGPU: AMD Radeon Vega 8 CPU: Intel 12th Gen Alder Lake N95 iGPU: Intel Iris Xe They both have 16gb RAM with 256gb ssd Which from both of these should i buy, i was planning to use this for college, blender, editing, and a bit of gaming like Valorant, Minecraft and GTA 5
They are both low power processors so they pretty much work the same. So, just pick your favourite and you should be okay. Though I would go with the intel one if it was me.
@@tech-techover do u think the laptop will perform smoothly for all the needs that I mentioned on the previous comment or is there a laptop that'll perform better with the same budget?
so what If the game is enjoyable resolution doesn't matter I played Far cry 3 on a Laptop with uhd620 before Building a Pc So I know What I'm talking about
@@Seminoso yup that I agree with you. looks ike Some what shitty but when you only Have that option left you usually don't care about the quality right as long as you get like 30Fps.
