There are a few things that upset me about the Haitian crisis. 1. How the media bashes Americans while lifting up Haitians, by saying "they want to come to work on-time, they want to pay their rent on-time. They only do that because you cant be a refugee and a deadbeat at the same time. Their community is already upsetting the current community, if they weren't working and paying rent, the situation would be way worse. 2. Haiti has tried to start a war twice with the Dominican Republic and failed, which has put them in this place, on-top of that they are buying weapons from the Dominican Republic to arm the gangs. 3. If they true believe and love their county, they would not run but instead fight back as a community to bring they home under control. Instead they run to the US. They could go to Spain, Switzerland, Ireland, or England but don't because its easier for our government to accept them.
