This storm pounded the Twin Cities just before midnight and continued for several hours. This storm produced a tornado and very strong winds that left damage in its wake. This is complete coverage from beginning to end.
I remember this storm. That midnight tornado was not fun. Especially when a branch a foot in diameter broke off our neighbors tree and fell in my yard narrowly missing the house

Real Life TV We normally have winds ahead of a line of strong/severe storms. But in the last several years, we've had "wake lows" that generate powerful winds in the opposite direction behind the storms - it's not unusual, but in those instances the weather service has issued high wind warnings. With the storms in the video, the rotating "head" of the line of storms rotates like a hurricane and brings strong NW W winds that last for hours, which was the case with this storm. Generally this storm acted like a derecho or MCV, mesoscale convective vortex - although it was fairly weak but did generate winds up to 60 m.p.h. throughout much of the metro.
+RDC Tarantula I think the wind is due to the rapid falling barometric pressure from the storms that passed so since the pressure drops rapidly, the atmosphere has to balance it self out by forming wind.
Tbh i know this is just my personal opinion but, i like ur videos without the music. I feel like its makes it more timeless then dated. I love the song though, no hate.
