Mama Mia...this is the third cracking track I discovered ONLY this week from guess which year....1993. When I hear all these beautifully crafted tracks now the production quality is astounding. You can dance, run or just sit anywhere in the world and feel the hairs rise on the back of your neck. Incredible. I start to wonder if all these producers all came from another planet and chose the year 1993 to release all their unearthly music....I never ceased to be amazed by that era of beats, bass and melodies; both rough and smooth. Just timeless...thanks for the upload and respect to the producers and DJs who created music that lift us up to this day. It was not about the money back then just true love of the genre...the other two tracks that blew me away this week were DJ Fokus - Vexxed and Nut-E-1 - Underwater Fireworks. Wow...
Listen to HOODED SERIES 001 - DJ RAVINGMAN (DARKCORE 92-94 MIX) by Hooded Records on #SoundCloud soundcloud.com/hooded-records/hooded-series-001-dj-ravingman Cheers man. This is a mix of my fav. 1993 darkside tunes. Enjoy it
I don't give a fk if I'm now one of those old cunts... Spending hours digging through crates looking at runouts on promos in search of the gems. Those were the days lol
Demon King Watcha bro.. Cradle of Fear thats a great movie! Love the low key vibes in that. Some great samples in there and a wicked soundtrack. The dreamy sample in this wicked tune i think is evil dead 3 but i could be wrong. ss
True story no shite there I was, I've been trying to find to this track since I heard it, I think it was Phantom 45 at a party in Chicago and I was blown away, I knew it was Evil Dead and I have been searhing Evil Dead since then and then it clicked Evil Dead: Army of Darkness and I found it since '93-94, it took forever to find Time Space Contineum and the Army of Darkness track
I still have a head full of tunes who's names I'll never know (until I find them) that are just literally snippets of the song I might've only heard a few times. It's like that with the 90s.
@@anrkist Glad I could help! Actually, I completely forgot they were working on a volume 2, so thank YOU for the reminder! hahah :) It really is an amazing comp though...a 10/10 on all 10 tracks!
Yeah yeah. Anyone remember that 8 hr Packer set(reunión style) at the old Players nightclub under the Hilton? About 98. The Perth scene just died after The Infirmary and DCs were done, but there was the odd banger. Thank's Greg.
This whole E.P. was badness. And I never bought it for some fucking unknown reason! I used to see it in the shop and think, "nah, next week" and never got it! Compared to some of the useless 'frisbees' I got instead I can only conclude I musta been buzzin'! Crazy how you can sleep on heavy tunes and not realise how good they are until it's too late. I got a fair few classic riddims anyway, but damn!
