We do need contemporary and modern material for the audio exercises of the English classes of my neighbourhood school. But we also need more students getting into Spanish or Dutch next year. So, yep, this is maybe a solution.
There's a concrete company that operates in a residential area and these guys are the ones who allowed it. Idk if you know what its like to live next to a fucking cement factory, but it gets loud, really loud. Its probably why she mentioned hearing aids cause of all the people going deft. On top of that, these fucks allow the company to use cheap materials that end up falling apart and they get one of their lawyers to cover it up for them. When she was talking about the 6 butts thing she meant that she has 5 other people working with her to solve this so that the kids in her community don't have to deal with the damage these folk are protecting. This is a really inspiring story of the little guys fighting the man and corrupt politicians so lets not rag on her, shes only doing what she can.
yaser ibrahim i agree that it is not a good thing that the factory moved in next to her or whatever happened but she is obviously crazy. I'm not ragging on her for trying to fix the issue but this is making her seen nuts and that's not how you get people to look at anything. She would be better off having one of her six top lawyers talk on her behalf
Yaser Ibrahim thanks for back story. I figured it had to be something significant for her to be so irate. I wish the video had a text description of the particulars because taken out of context it really does make her sound a little nutty.
Negative . This is a play on words that must be filtered so that these useless council people must listen to that. Maybe not care but this valid rant definitely speaks volumes in comprehension.
It's actually a very well structured play on words. Otherwise she wouldn't be allowed to voice her "public" opinion. In hindsight, she advised the council that she understands that play they're in, in 'life' & She sees through the negativity they have caused loved ones to her. Think what you want but that's an obvious representation on her metaphorss
Well, it looks like a good attention grabbing technique. You go "guess what" and they think of things in a sequence. Doesn't work half the time, but when it does, it can make people see things step by step. Possibly not as rapidly as the person saying "guess what" wants but still.
Working years in service based jobs, I’m so familiar with this manic behavior. An individual gets so worked up in their own mind over something, they can’t properly articulate their thoughts and/or control their pace and breath lol. It always cracks me up. If she would have slowed down, practiced and organized her speech better, she might have had better luck getting her point across
Someone swallowed a crazy pill and washed it down with a glass of bitterness. Saying that, she's got a point. Hammered the message home with a bag of props.
This lady is very very very angry! Check in to the parts she is saying! The City has REALY screwed with her neighborhood and her neighbors and family! What would YOU be doing?!
She's actually got a solid argument. It sounded crazy to me for the first 30 seconds and then I could understand her approach. Its harder for outsiders to understand though because she was throwing a ton of deep insults using metaphors that were tailored in a way that the people she was speaking to would get. I believe that the people she was speaking to understood 80% of that. She was using a movie analogy at the beginning, so unless they saw it, they wouldn't understand a portion of what she was saying
Bag of marbles: reference to losing your marbles. Cigarette box: you guys wanted me to use a filter, so I will, but like a filtered cigarette, it’s still going to be harsh. Someone suggested 2 boobs not 6 could be referring to an insult one of them might have used on her. As for 6 butts, I have no clue. I think it’s supposed to mean “I have 6 people”, but I’m not sure. Apparently the toilet paper comment could be her essentially pointing out that she’s scoped out the place, but my mentioning something about their toilet paper. I would have never picked up on that. The movie reference, I don’t understand, but I definitely got that it was meant to be a movie reference nonetheless. The underwear? No clue The monkey? You’re ruining kids lives by doing what you’re doing. Although her saying “I’m not sure you’ll get this one” leads me to believe that that one is a metaphor that I’m also missing. OH ANOTHER THING I JUST NOTICED. The toilet paper comment, she almost said (I think) “that’s why y’all are a bunch of damn hard-asses”, as a double entendre. But she cut herself off at “damn”
But guess what? It's name is actually John Stigmer and guess what she brought it for? You see her brother John A. Wilkes was arrested for vehicular manslaughter but it was actually not his fault. The government is making rogue vibrators and John Stigmer is actually whistle blower who kept his identity a secret for years.
"Here's a pair of bell bottoms with mushroom patches on the pockets!" "Look here, I got a box of toenails and grass clippings. What do ya think of that?"
She's dealing with a complicated issue with many moving parts but only has a few minutes to make her comments; anything like that is gonna come off pretty crazy to those who don't know the details. This really wasn't meant for people like us to be judging, this is for the council members she was specifically talking to as evident by the specific names and references. Personally, I'm inclined to believe her.
From what I can gather is that we came in late to some kind of some kind of long standing debate/feud this with has with the location of a concrete company that caused locals problems as well as some kind of laws that were passed that messed with kids and something to do with her step dad. She may have heard that they insulted her saying she was fat maybe about her boobs. Her panty gifts are insults directed at some members and her threat of having money is her way of saying she can continue to fight for her cause. This is why people need to write out speech first and be concise and learn how to articulate. Perhaps she should take some public speaking courses. Also she remembers personal details about issues that the panel may have no clue or have forgotten about. I would suggest she again work on her articulation. It had the potential to be funny and well put together but her fumbling just made her look loony.
You just need to break down her bad speech style. Here it is. 1. She is talking about a movie. Called Arryo. You can see the trailer on youtube. It is about a rancher that goes vigilante is a small town to take on a corruption and the cartel that is causing problems in the town. ( She references this movie to try and link The actions of the concrete company (( The Cartel)) and the city council officials ( The political corruption)) that she is seeing. She distances herself from the shoot em up main character by saying she is not the rancher but her brother can be dangerous. A kind of subtle threat but her main message is they watch the movie and stop what she views as corruption. 2. The toilet paper is a reference to a YES My relatives were scoping you out and they say your toilet paper is scratchy in this building. This was aimed at proving that her relatives did scope the building out and anyone who worked in that building would know the toilet paper was bad. The toilet paper thing is essentially another veiled threat that was conveyed poorly. 3. She then points out the name and badge number of their security officer sitting in the back saying she is aware of his presence and the officer keeps the safe from her and the harm she wants to cause them. 4. The officer at some point eariler told her to filter her words down and not be so threatening. So she brought a pack of cigarettes as a filter. This serves the dual meaning of saying I may be filtered but I'm gonna make sure I'm still offensive to some to some people, which a cigarette can be. 5. I don't smoke....aka smoking kills people.. My brother smokes.. This again is a allusion to death and threat by her family members the same one mentioned earlier that scoped the place out. 6. The pink monkey is an allusion to her doing something good for the community( A hero) to help offset the damage caused to the children of the community by the panel ( The Villain) allowing the concrete plant to open up so close to a residential area. Basically she is in the right as she see's it. 7. The tits and asses is her responding to a personal insult she heard them saying about her from her an outside source and the name of the man and his business card is her way of showing them how she came to hear about the insults from the guys wife in New York. 8. She mentions her Attorney and the death of her step father most likely from a cause she believes is from the concrete plant and she holds to panel members responsible and plans to sue. 9. The marbles is a reference to the old saying " Some has lost their marbles" Basically you must of lost your marbles so here is some more cause only and idiot will approve the plans of a concrete plant 50ft from a residential home. 10. The hearing aide reference is her saying she is gonna buy them all hearing aids from her calling them so much and yelling at them. This again is a reference to her not going away on this issue and is committed to fighting it. 11. Asking Carl about the transcripts is I'm guessing her wanting to see the communications between the panel and the concrete company that took place when discussing the location of the plant. The transcripts are 6 hours long and she wants to know why she hasn't seen them yet despite asking so much. She must of put in a petition over a year ago to release those documents as legal they are required to do and they have not done so yet. 12. She then name drops two very good assumingly well known local attorneys she has working on this case, as proof she mentions past malpractices of that company that had to do with insurance fraud, welfare fraud and housing fraud and mentions structural damage evident in past projects that the company has worked on as a way to prove that the concrete company is not trustworthy and the panel is idiots for getting into bed with them/getting paid off by them. 13. She will be at every meeting and will not let them get away with the perceived injustice. 14. The panties. The first one is referencing of them as being a little pussy and not doing anything about the problem so he gets the pink ones. The green ones are for the guy that has probably been in change of handling her complaints as well as everyone else who's "panties got in a wad" cause of her persistence. 15. She made some money in the past posing for the book in the past as an underwear model or possible nude model and she made a lot of money off of said book, cause it is was popular in it's time. The point of mentioning that is that she has a lot of money saved up and she is willing to fight this fight as long as it takes. Conclusion: She has a valid complaint I think. I hope my interpretation helps shed light on what appears to be valid but poorly articulated speech.
+nostoptheoversite you know what? I think your a schizo yourself. Only the crazies understand one another or when they have conversations by themselves to themselves. Get help dude. Seriously. And make sure you use comfy soft toilet paper.
