I came across this "series" and am fascinated. This is exactly like my home town. 5 years ago I owned a few different companies. The older I got, the less time & energy I had to put towards all three companies. I decided to sell one. A potential buyer met with me, and decided to spend the day driving around the town, walking down the street, going into different businesses trying to get familiar with the area. Coincidentally that night was a town council meeting. He decided to stick around and go to it. Two days later, he calls me and says I cannot believe the BS small town pety things that were discussed at this meeting. These are elected govt officials acting like this, and the audience at this meeting were just as bad! Im sorry, I loved your business, I love your numbers, but there is no number good enough for me to want to be a part of a community like that!!

I'm with Ed on this one. First he was accused of stealing, which he didn't do. Then, when he tried to explain what happened, he got an e-mail basically calling him a liar, too. You can't let that go, especially in politics. Plus, that Sarto guy is kind of slimy.

According to the laws of The Village of Carpentersville, even THINKING about taking binder clips is a capital crime that carries the death penalty. :)

Whats great is that usually the videos of meetings gone wrong are "one shots' a single out of hand meeting or single individual, video is posted etc... but the pattern of dysfunction in this board is great, it is like a TV show with reoccurring characters, and guest stars, each one a different episode....next week on Carpentersville, Bill brings an airhorn and everytime someone else tries to speak he blows it,
